Happy, Happy Birthday with Lawn Fawn....

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday! Mayra here with you today. Yay!! I am so happy to be here. I am sharing this summer-themed card using some fun stamps from Lawn Fawn

I began by coloring all of the images using Copic markers. I used the Scripty Bubbles Sentiments, Ocean Shell-fie, Keep On Swimming and the You Are Sublime stamp sets.  I used YG01 and YG17 for the green areas. For the yellow, I used Y11Y08, Y19, and YR24. For the blue areas, I used B28, FB2, B24, B12 and B21. For the minty blue, I used BG10, BG11, BG49BG13B0000 and BG23. For the brown areas, I used E41, E81, E84, E55, E31and E87.

I then die-cut the panel for the card using the Stitched Rectangles dies set. I added color to the panel using Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink, Blue Jay, and Fish Tank Lawn Fawn inks. I then used the Ray of Light Stencil to add the sunshine rays layer to the panel. Next, I die cut the sandy area using the Slimline Stitched Hillside Border die set. I also used one of the layers as a stencil to add color to the base and frame layers. I then added color to the sandy areas using Gathered Twigs and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.

Then, I heat embossed the sentiment onto the panel. The sentiment is from the Wavy Sayings and the Keep On Swimming stamp sets.

I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogIG or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Down Under with Mama Elephant

Hi, all!  You know I'd already showcased the Mama Elephant Leafy Cover die a few weeks ago where I used it in a mixed media and two simple sponged and embossed cards.

Well, today I'm using it with the Mama Elephant Little Koala Agenda critters.

Aren't they adorable? Aren't all of the little agendas?!  Duh!

I chose a few with a birthday theme in mind and colored them up with Copics.

I used a piece of Lawn Fawn Spiffy Speckles 6x6 paper for the background but easily could have sponged it.

I stamped the Mama Elephant Mixed Wishes sentiment smack dab in the middle. Mama Elephant really planned the sentiments and cover plate coordination brilliantly.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hello from Toni: Trinity Is in the House!

Surprised to see me? Not really, huh?  I've been such a busy crafting bee lately!

With today's final Trinity introduction card I've used the Trinity Friends Are Flowers set with the MFT Small Brick Wall Stencil.

I used Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina with the stencil and colored up the image with yellow flowers and orange accents which I love with that color of Tiffany blue.  So pretty.

Are you excited about Trinity Stamps coming to the shop?  I know I am!

Hello from Toni: Trinity and Pinkfresh

Hi again, everyone!  For my second Trinity card this week I used the Greatest Friend on Earth set, pairing it with Pinkfresh Studio.

I used stencil 1 of Pinkfresh Sunburst Stencils with Distress INK Kitsch Flamingo as I wanted the pink to have a translucence that Oxides just don't have.

I then used Gina K Silver Glitz Glitter Gel with stencil 2 of the Pinkfresh Sunburst Stencil set. I set that aside to dry for about 20 minutes.  Look how glittery it is!

I colored up the Trinity Greatest Friend on Earth images using Copics, keeping Hugh Jackman in mind--LOL.

I'll see you again tomorrow with another Trinity card.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hello from Toni: Trinity Stamps is Coming!

Hello, everyone!  A little birdie told me that Doodlebugs will soon be carrying Trinity Stamps, which is local to us. Woo hoo!

This week I'll post a few cards featuring recent Trinity releases so you can get a flavor for the types of designs available.

I sponged the card base with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and adhered a Lawn Fawn Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop panel on top.

I colored up the Trinity First Bloom set with just a few Copics (see list below) and nestled that beneath a stack of two Lawn Fawn Giant Sending Big Hugs die cuts.  So pretty!

I'll see you again Thursday with another Trinity card.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hello from Toni: Altenew Craft-a-Flower Roses

Hi, everyone!  Today's card reflects my first experience with Altenew's series of Craft-a-Flower layering dies. In this case I'm using the Altenew Craft-a-Flower Antique Rose Layering Dies.

Holy crap, people.  Just look at this!

There are 4 flower layers working from darkest to lightest. The only layer that gave me any pause was the last (palest pinks) because when cut they're all separate but I just took a quick look at the included diagram and good to go.

The large leaves have only 3 layers and then there's the tri-leaf impressed leaves. Easy peasy there.

I used the Altenew 3D Organic Linen embossing folder with a piece of Honey Bee Team Tie Dye 6x6 paper for the background. Such amazing texture!

The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio Infinite Blooms which happened to be sitting nearby.  I am a creature of convenience, after all.  :)

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hello from Toni: Bonus Pride Card

Since it's Pride month, I thought of some of my friends and thought I would work up a few cards. I especially love the MFT Rain or Shine sentiment which is so inclusive in this context.  Yay!

I love the looks of different layers in the card, in no small part due to how well the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine Remix and Sunny Studio Subtle Grey Tones go together.

I'll see you on Monday for a regular post!  Have a great weekend!

I then die-cut the larger of the rectangles from the Basic Rectangles set. Then I die cut the Tropical Backdrop and Palm Tree Border, along with the layers for the palm trees, and sand area. Hello from Toni: Aloha with Avery Elle

Aloha, my lovelies!  The weather is warming up, people are getting vaccinated and now it's easier to turn my eye towards an honest-to-goodness vacation.  Same?

Both of my cards today use the Avery Elle Luau set. Soo cute! I love these hula critters!

For the first card I used the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Leaves and Flowers Stencil along with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina for the background.

I cut a piece of vellum using one of the Lawn Fawn Flippin' Awesome Add-on dies and adhered it to the background using double-sided tape.

I fussy cut the bear's arm and some of the skirt leaves and paper-pieced them.  I had accidentally spilled water on the original image (argh!) and didn't want to let all that coloring go to waste.

Speaking of coloring, I colored up all of my images using Copics.

For the second card, I stamped the backgrounding using the Avery Elle Luau Party tiki mask and leaves using DO Salvaged Patina and Mowed Lawn.

I mounted a circle cut from Honey Bee Team Tie-Dye 6x6 paper (built-in sunset!) and added island elements from Sunny Studio Tropical Scenes.  That made it really easy for me to add the Avery Elle Luau Party images to finish up the scene.

Aloha!  I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.
