What's New Wednesday
We are still getting lots of NEW stuff from CHA, Halloween and Christmas party supplies, and lots of seasonal paper crafting products. Again, the list this week is too long to list, so you'll have to stop by for the "in person preview" of new products.
Above are a few of my favorites. We have Stamp and Cut Die sets and embossing folders from Sizzix / Hero Arts, Holiday stamps from Impression Obsession, and Halloween dies from Lifestyle Crafts.
Another favorite, not shown, is the new Primitive Pumpkin set from My Favorite Things Stamps. Watch this video for a preview of the stamp and die set. I've included some images below of several October Art Bar projects coming up that use this fun stamp set.

Stamping Bella- Uptown Girl Lucille
It's been some time since I posted any Stamping Bella, Uptown Girl images. I've been so wrapped up in all of the seasonal merchandise and the "Holiday Workshop" that I forgot all about her. This one is Lucille, sending "loads of love". She came out earlier this year, around Valentine's Day, so it's easy to think of her just for your Valentine cards. However, I think she's great for an all year, mulit-purpose stamp. I sent this card to my grandma for her birthday. I thought it would also be perfect for a New Year's card, wishing everyone "loads of love" for the New Year (or Holidays)!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Halloween Jack-o-lantern Treats
The fry box is a die from Lifestyle Crafts. We cut it, punched the jack-o-lantern face, and then embossed it with an embossing folder. We then glued some yellow paper inside, behind the eyes and mouth and filled it with shred and some treats!
Sherree created the treat bag below. She cut a strip of white paper, punched it, embossed it, and then scored the middle to create the flat bottom. Folded the two sides up, stapled the treats inside, and covered the top with a scallop circle she created using a punch or a die. Add a tag and some ribbon and you're done.
Here's a picture of the anywhere punch. I love that you can punch it ANYWHERE on your page or project. No need to worry if it will reach far enough into your project for you to center it properly. You can punch it exactly where you want it. Want to try out the anywhere punches? Stop in for a demo.

Let it Snow- Glitter Card
My sales rep, Emily, shared this wonderful technique with me last week. Once I had a chance to play, this is what I created.
To create this you'll need:
1. The Ultra Fine glitter that we get from Elizabeth Crafts (the one we use with the Peels and the Copic Markers)
2. A beautiful stamp. The stamp we used is from Inkadinkado. We have several in stock at the store.
3. Ink for stamping. We used Turquoise Gem from Tsukineko for one card and one of the purple Brilliance colors (sorry, don't remember the name of the color) for the second sample.
4. A sheet of double sided adhesive. We carry the Sizzix adhesive sheets, but you can use any brand.
Stamp your image on a sheet of white cardstock. Once dry, adhere a piece of double sided adhesive over the entire stamped image. Remove the backing from the adhesive sheet and apply the glitter. Once it's covered with the glitter, I rub my finger over it just to make sure that it sticks well. Empty the extra glitter back into the jar and assemble your card. It's that easy!
Here's a close-up look of the card.

What's New Wednesday
It's time for What's New Wednesday, already! Where does the time go?
First up, are NEW Holiday stamps from Hero Arts. Of course we have a much larger selection that what I have shown in the image. These are just a few of my favorites. The tag sets are GREAT as they have a coordinating die for cutting the tags once you've stamped them. Hero Arts stamps are made in the USA!!!
The next image is of the NEW Neon ink colors from Hero Arts. I thought these were perfect for Halloween. So, we thought we'd carry them through Halloween just in case you want to use them for those spooky projects.
The final image is of Spellbinder's new dies. First are the Spellbinders™ Expandable Patterns dies. They allow you to expand designs in all direction to create a larger scale background. GREAT for card making and scrapbooking. Then we have the NEW scallop Labels One die. Yes, this does coordinate with your original Labels One die. Finally, the NEW Fancy Framed Tags. Take a quick minute to watch this demonstration video on the NEW Expandable Pattern dies. I've also linked a video for the new Fancy Framed Tags.

Friday's Creative Cafe
It's Friday and that means 'Creative Cafe" time. Since it's back to school week here in Sequim, we thought it would be appropriate to make bookmarks. We're using the NEW Dienamics Bookmark stamp and die set from My Favorite Things. Today's bookmark is a folded bookmark. We're not using the magnetic snap this time, but you could easily add a magnetic snap from Basic Grey to this bookmark. Stop by between 4:30PM and 6:30PM to make one. This week's project is ONLY $2.

Sequim's Hot Air Balloon Festival
We enjoyed watching the balloons this past weekend. They were so beautiful floating over Sequim. I sure hope you had the opportunity to see them.
Mary took a ride with my cousin, Victor, on Saturday morning. So, just in case you missed the balloons....here are a few photos.

What's New Wednesday
We have been working very hard the past couple of weeks to check in and put out all of our NEW and seasonal merchandise. We finally unpacked most of our Halloween party and scrapbooking products and they are displayed throughout the store. We are up to our eyeballs in Christmas. I sure hope we can find room for it all.
One of my favorite shipments this week was the Penny Black stamp order. We received lots of fun, new, Christmas and winter stamps. Of course, I couldn't resist taking a few home to play with. So, the first image is one of the finished cards I made last week. I always love coloring those hedgehogs. They are so cute! I also used one of the new embossing folders from Lifestyle Crafts and some stickles to glitter it up!
Many of you have been asking for these. A mini (card) version of the Score Board from Martha Stewart Crafts. Well, we've got them in stock.
Finally, stop in and play with this fun new gadget. The Stamping Gear starter set comes with everything you need to get started (minus the ink). It has four stamps, the gear and the mounting block. Watch this video for a quick demonstration.
