So Grateful For You

We're sharing a quick and simple card today!

We used the Grateful for You stamp and die set from MFT Stamps, along with their Striped Sentiment Cover-up die to create this card.

The flower and leaf embellishments were cut from Paper Smooches Foliage 1 die and Flowers 2 die.  After cutting them, we added Clear Wink of Stella to the top (as usual, you can't see it in the photo).

We added Stick-it to the back of watercolor paper and cut the word grateful twice. Then, colored one of them with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and stacked them together for some added dimension.  The scallop edge die is from Blueprints #20.

Foliage 1 and Flowers 2 dies from Paper Smooches

Sweet and Cool from Concord and 9th

A quick post today.  We're sharing another, perfect for summer, card using the Sweet and Cool stamp set from Concord and 9th.

We stamped the outline image and the sentiment onto watercolor paper using VersaMark ink.  Then, heat embossed the image with white embossing powder.  The image was colored using Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  The white embossed sentiment will resist the color.

Super easy!!

Sweet and Cool from Concord and 9th

Another card using Concord and 9th stamps...

We used the Sweet and Cool set from Concord and 9th to create this fun, colorful card.  We stamped the outline image on watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink.  This creates a no-line watercolor image, as the outline disappears when you watercolor the image.  After stamping the images, they were colored using the Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  The stitched rectangle and scallop rectangle were cut from MFT Stamps Blueprints 20.

The Wink of Stella is usually hard to see in photos, but I was able to capture some of the shimmer this time in my photo.  After coloring the images with the Clean Color Real Brush Markers, we added a layer of Wink of Stella on top!

Wildflowers and Grateful for You

Remember all the wonderful stamps we added to our shop from Concord and 9th?  Today we're sharing a card we created using their Wildflower stamp set along with the Grateful stamp and die from MFT Stamps.

We stamped the flowers with VersaMark ink onto watercolor paper and embossed them with white embossing powder.  Then, we used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to add color.  The word grateful was cut from watercolor paper backed with Stick-it (love that stuff!) and also colored with the pens.  It's hard to see in the photo, but we added Wink of Stella in clear to the top of the word grateful.

Beautiful Day from Altenew

Today we have a quick and easy card using the Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew.

To create this card, we stamped the lined image in black archival ink onto watercolor paper.  Then used the Distress Inks to stamp the detailed portion of the images.  After stamping, we sprayed the image with water and let dry.  Super easy and fun technique.

Grateful for You and Peony Bouquet

Today we paired the NEW Grateful for You stamp and die set from MFT with the very popular Peony Bouquet from Altenew.  We hope you like the card.

The peony and leaves images were colored with the Clean Color Real Brush Markers from Zig.   Stick-it paper was added to the back of some watercolor paper and the word grateful cut three times from the paper.  We used a grey, Clean Color Real Brush Marker to color the top of one of the words and then blended the color with a Clear Wink of Stella pen.  After it was dry, we removed the backing from the words, exposing the sticky, and stacked them on top of one another.

Here's the finished card.

The scallop piece was cut from vellum using the Blueprints #20 die from MFT Stamps.  The stitched rectangle was from the Blueprints #13.
