A Friend is Like a Four Leaf Clover...

I love it when I find a seasonal stamp that can be used all year.  This stamp includes some great sentiments making it perfect for anytime of year.  The four leaf clover makes it perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

Make it Monday- Vintage Card

Today we're making cards for the men in your life.  Stop in between 1PM and 3PM,  to make a card similar to the one shown here.

Creative Cafe- Stamp and Emboss Card

You'll have fun with these!  Stop in today, between 4:30PM and 6:30PM, and play with these fun Stamp and Emboss sets from Sizzix and Hero Arts.  You'll stamp your image, then insert it into the coordinating embossing folder, and emboss it!  Super fun.  It's a bit hard to see the embossed frame and stripes, but trust me, they are embossed.

What's New Wednesday

Let's get back to "What's New Wednesday".  We've been getting lots of boxes from UPS and Fed Ex.  The new stuff we ordered at the show is starting to arrive.  "Miss Caroline" from My Minds Eye and the new Dear Lizzy collection have arrived and are a must see.  We've also received some fun glitter tape that I'm dying to play with.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook for up to date information on what's arriving.

Make it Monday- Stamp and Cut Card

Stop in today for our "Make it Monday" project.  We'll be using one of the Stamp and Cut sets from Sizzix and Hero Arts.  These are GREAT!  Stamp your image, and then use the coordinating die to cut out your stamped image.  Stop in for a visit between 1PM and 3PM today, and make a card similar to the one shown here.

Criss Cross Box

I love giving sets of handmade cards as gifts and I'm always looking for creative and fun ways to package them.  I thought this was a great idea.  Mary found this idea on pinterest.com and created her own version.  She used the new Tim Holtz Easter Element die from Sizzix to embellish it.  Here's a look at what she created.  You can find the original post here.

 

She also used the butterfly from the new Tim Holtz Easter Elements die on the front of the cards.

Creative Cafe- Rose Embossed Card

I love how simple this card is.  Drop in today, between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM and make one yourself.  We'll be using a faux letterpress technique to emboss and print these roses with a light pink ink.  It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but the roses are a soft pink.

Unity Stamps- Sweetest Day

Another card from Unity's Itty Bitty Stamps.  This one is, "Sweetest Day."  It reminds me of strawberry picking at Graysmarsh Farm.  Can't wait for those strawberries.  In the meantime, this will have to do.

 

 

I used Petal Pink Liquid Pearls and Firefly Stickles from Ranger Ink.  The Copic marker colors are:  R22, 17, & 27;  G14, 07, &  28.  The rectangle and scallop rectangle were cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Creative Cafe- Honeycomb Card

I love using this honeycomb paper inside cards. So, I thought I'd use it for this week's project.  Stop in this afternoon between 4:30PM and 6:30PM and create yourself a card similar to the one shown here.

Embossed Heart Card

I love the cut and emboss (Embosslits) hearts from Sizzix and the Lifestyle Crafts embossing folders that are out now.  The folder designs are all of the current patterns that are so popular right now.  I used both a Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder and a Sizzix Heart Embosslits (we have two styles in stock right now) to create this simple card.  I also used an Edgeabilities Die from Spellbinders to create the red border.
