Just for You with Honey Bee Stamps....

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!! Mayra here with you today, yay!!!  I have two cards to share with you. I used the super sweet Treat Yo Self stamp set by Honey Bee Stamps

I began my cards by coloring the images I would be using from the set. I used Copic markers to color them in. For the coffee, I used E41, E31, E55, E35, a bit of E47, and C1. For the soft pink, I used RV42, R21, R30, R01, and R00. For the peachy color, I used R12, YR00, YR000, and R000. I also used a bit of BG10 and BG11.

To create the first card, I used a piece of patterned paper from the Sweet On You 6x6 paper pad.  I then stamped the sentiment from the set using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink.

For the second card, I used the Fluttering Hearts Cover Plate die to create a shaker card. I die cut the top layer from Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. I then added color to it using Lawn Fawn inks. I used Apricot, Peach Fuzz, and Peachy Keen. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the die-cut panel and created the shaker element.

I hope you enjoy the Valentine treats cards I created to share with you today. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day.

Hello from Toni: Smooches

I had such a fun time making these two Valentine cards using new Honey Bee and Pink Fresh Studio goodies.

Now pucker up and take a look at the first card where I used Distress Oxide Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar along with the Honey Bee Smooch stamp to create a sassy background.

I then cut out the Honey Bee Smooch die from glitter cardstock and added some gold washi to complement it.

I created another fun background on the second card using the same Distress Oxides along with the Pink Fresh Studio Sunburst Layered Stencil.  The package contains 3 stencils that allow you to create wedges of color that mix together to make even more colors. Love!

I used Distress Ink Candied Apple to stamp the Honey Bee SWAK so the lips were really vibrant. Also, you'll see that I used all 3 layers of the HB Smooch dies in colors similar to the colors of the background.  Groovy!

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Special Delivery with Lawn Fawn...

Hello everyone!! Happy Wednesday. Mayra here with you today. I have this fun birthday card to share with you. I used the adorable Spring Critter Huggers and Tiny Gift Box Chick and Duck Add-On die from Lawn Fawn.

I started my card by using the Outside In Stitched Balloons die to create the background. I used the smallest and middle balloons from the set to create a stitched balloon effect. Next, I added color to the panel using Lawn Fawn Inks in Apricot, Peach Fuzzand Peachy Keen. I then used the Cloudy Stencil to add a soft clouds look. I also used the small balloon to create small duck themed balloons. I then die cut the scalloped panel using the largest rectangle from the Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables set. I used Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink and Lawn Fawn Ink in Sunflower to add the yellow color all around the edges of the scalloped rectangle and to the edges of the yellow areas for the duckies.

I then used the cute envelope die from the Gift Card Heart Envelope die set to create the little envelope containing the special delivery. The sentiment is from the new Special Delivery and Wavy Sayings stamp sets. The banners are from the Simple Wavy Banners die set.

I hope you enjoy this card I created to share with you. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me at my blogInstagram, or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Honey Bee Gnome

Hello, my gnomies! Today's card features the Honey Bee Gnome Place Like Home set. I think gnomes are so cute (and yet creep en masse) so snatched this up out of the current DB sale section.

I first sponged the card base with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil. I didn't mask the edges of the card; instead I used a sand eraser for any ink that strayed over the edges.

Next I used the MFT Brick Wall Cover Up Die with a leftover panel I had colored with Zigs way back when. I cut that in half and glued the bricks back in randomly for a really cool look.

I colored up the HB gnome with Copics and promptly chopped off his legs and replaced them with Lawn Fawn twine. Just call me the Wicked Witch of the Pacific Northwest.

I love how his legs hang over the brick wall and can swing around.  I used a sentiment from Sunny Studio Silly Sloths for a cute pun.  So fun!

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Sending ( A Lotl) Love & Hugs...

Hello everyone!! Happy Wednesday. Mayra here with you today. I have this sweet card to share with you. I used the adorable I Like You (Alotl) stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I began my card by die cutting the base panels for my card. I used the XOXO Backdrop die for the top layer. To create the sandy areas, I used the Slimline Stitched Hillside Border dies, the heart in the center is from the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables set, and the banner is from the Simple Wavy Banners set.

Next, I added the colors to my ocean scene using Blue Jay and Fish Tank Lawn Fawn Premium Dye Ink. I really love the brightness of these colors. Then, I added color to the sandy areas using Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks.

I then chose the images I would use to create the scene. I used the I Like You (Alotl), Special Delivery Box Add-on (hearts from this set), Ocean Shell-fie, Stud Puffin (part of the sentiment), Keep On Swimming, You Are Sublime, Mermaid For You, and All the Clouds(part of the sentiment also). I colored the images using Copic markers. For the pink, I used R000, R01, R21, E93, YR000, and YR00. For the yellow, Y11, Y08, Y19, and YR24. For the blue, B21, B93, and B95

After coloring all of the images, I assembled the card. I had fun creating this card to share with you. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blog, Instagram, or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Miss You Pig Time!

Hello, everyone!  For today's card I'm using the Honey Bee Bad Influence set which happens to be in the Year End Deals section of the shop so grab it while you can!

For the card front I cut out the Lawn Fawn Polka Heart Portrait Backdrop out of  Honey Bee Holiday Cheer 6x6 Paper. I happened to have coordinating cardstock for the card base but could have easily used Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick on it instead.

I used the Lawn Fawn Picket Fence Border with a quick schmear of Distress Oxide Vintage Photo to create the pig pen.

To finish off the card, I added the HB sentiments (I highly recommend the coordinating dies since they cut out the words so well) and the Lawn Fawn Candy Heart.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Happy Anniversary...

Hello everyone!!! Happy January 2021!!! I am so happy to be here with my first post for the New Year!!! I created an extra special card today. It is a card for my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I used the bears from the adorable Snow Much Fun stamp set. I used the bears because he is a huge Chicago Bears fan, that is why I used the navy and orange colors for my card.

I began by die cutting the pieces I used to create my card. I used the heart from the Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On to create the pop-up heart in the center of the inside of the card. I also used the letters from Oliver's Stitched ABC's to spell out the word 'Beary', the small banner from the Flippin' Awesome die set, the Center Picture Window Add-On,  the Center Picture Window Card,  the Candy Hearts die to create the little shaker hearts. I also used the Lacy Hearts Stackables along with the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables. I die cut the heart from the  Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables set twice, I created a flip-up feature to reveal the shaker candy heart on the inside of it.

I also used the windows from the Build A House die set, I layered them onto a piece of navy blue cardstock. I then added accents using a white gel pen. I added a bit of color to the die-cut orange hearts by using Distress Oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon

I then colored the bears using Copic markers. The colors I used were E81, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, and R22. I used several stamp sets to create the sentiment on the front of the card and for the inside. I used Open MeSewn With Love, You're Clawsome, Special Delivery Box Add-On, and Special Delivery.  I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blog, Instagram, or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Avery Elle Rawr

Hi, everyone.  Today I have a really fun and cute birthday card to share with you.  Good timing since I have about a bezillion birthday cards to plan for this month. Eek!

I lightly sponged the card base with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean.  Then I stamped the Sunny Studio Tropical Scene image, using it as water. I also stamped and colored the vines from that set.

I stamped a bunch of the Avery Elle Rawr images and colored them up with Copics.  I think adding dots and lots of shading to the dinos really makes them pop.

To finish the card, I stamped and embossed the AE Rawr sentiment onto black cardstock. I popped that up on a bit of foam tape. So cute!

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hello from Toni: MFT Old Friends

Hello, hello!  Happy New Year!  We have lots to celebrate and much hope for the new year:  for those of us in the US, soon a new administration, and for all of us, hopefully an end to the pandemic.

Today's card was inspired by the shenanigans sentiment from the MFT Old Friends set.  SHEnanigans. Get it? :)

I wanted to show all the hijinks a woman might do during her lifetime so grabbed my stash of MFT Birdie Brown and went to town.  My original intention had been to color all of the images but, dang, that's a LOT of coloring so I calmed myself the heck down and took a different approach.

I stamped and cut out the images but only colored the one cute little old lady, layering the others behind around her as black and white memories.

I really liked the effect of the images hanging off of the A2 card base so will send this out using a large envelope.

I used the following Copics: BG11, BG13, BG15, BV23, E00, E11, E57, RV04, RV06, RV09, RV19, Y21, YR24 and YR27.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.
