Hello Friend

My apologies for missing "What's New Wednesday".  Something came up and I just wasn't able to get to it.  We'll be back next week with fun NEW stuff.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a card I created last week.  The stamp is from Unity Stamps.  I colored the image with Copic markers and added some Sparkly Fluff to the flower.  It's hard to see in this image, but the flower is "sparkly" and a bit fuzzy from the "fluff".

Berry Basket from Lifestyle Crafts

When I saw this basket at the CHA Show in January,  I knew I had to have it.  It came in about a week ago and I couldn't wait to create something with it.  Since the end of the school year is just around the corner, I thought I'd create something for a teacher.  I filled the basket with some office supplies, added a box of pencils and some strawberry Jones Soda to go with my strawberry theme.  I thought this would also be cute filled with strawberry or apple shaped sugar cookies.  For the holidays, you can fill it with a jar of home-made jam or cookies.  I think it's the perfect way to wrap up any berry themed gift.

Let's Toast Stamp and Die Set

The "Let's Toast" stamp and die set from My Favorite Things Stamps is perfect for dressing up bottled gifts all year long.  Add it to soda or beer for dad on Father's Day.  Dress it up and add it to a bottle of Champagne for a wedding gift or New Year's event.  I've made a few to add to a bottle of wine for last minute hostess gifts.  It's also perfect for Holiday gift giving.

 It's hard to see in this image, but  the set also comes with a mini bottle tag and several phrases to add to your wine glass stems.  These make it easier to keep track of your drink at the party.

Graphic 45 Topical Travelogue

My mom created this beautiful book using Graphic 45's Tropical Travelogue collection and Bo-Bunny's 9"x 9" Bare Naked Binder.  She's now trying to talk my dad into a tropical vacation.  The book just isn't complete without pictures!  Right?

What's New Wednesday

The Distress Ink Markers are finally here and in stock.  We've got a couple of  the complete sets left and the individual markers all available open stock.  If you haven't heard about these, or would just like some additional information, visit the video link below.  In the video, Tim will show you several ways to use these markers and how they work.  If you've purchased these already, or are thinking about it, this video is a must.  So, grab a cup of coffee, or tea and click on this link.

Mini Paper Basket

I found the cutest basket on Pinterest from this blog.  Perfect for summer parties, picnics and favors.  They would have been perfect in my "Cherry Party" window, dressed up with cute cherry tags.

Here's my version of her adorable little basket.  I used Hero Art's wood grain background stamp to create the look of wood on my kraft paper.  The flower is a Sizzix die and the glazed brads are from Basic Grey.  I also inked the edges of each strip with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  For the directions, be sure to visit her blog.  I believe it's written in Italian but she's got great pictures and the measurements (in metric).  Have fun.

What's New Wednesday

The first image is the NEW Berry Container from Lifestyle Crafts.  I'm loving this die, and can't wait to add it to my cherry themed party window I've been working on.  Wouldn't this be cute filled with paper shred and home-made strawberry jam.  Or, how about strawberry or cherry sugar cookies.  The ideas are endless.

Next is one of my favorite summer collections.  This is "Summer Fresh" from Simple Stories.  I love the blues, reds, and yellows together.  It reminds me of warm summer days and outdoor picnics and BBQs.

Finally,  Tim Holtz NEW Mover's and Shapers are in.  Just in time for your Father's Day cards!!

Pulley Card

Mary found this cute card on YouTube and decided to make her version.  She used Heidi Swapps new paper collection and some Jollee's and Idea-o-logy embellishments.  It's a perfect graduation gift card holder.  Wouldn't it be fun to use the custom school papers we have?  It's a great idea for any occasion.  The link for the instructions can be found at the bottom of this post.

What's New Wednesday

 

Sun, or no sun, summer products are starting to arrive.  We have a beautiful new collection from Basic Grey filled with lots of fun hot air balloons.  Stock up now for this summer's Balloon Festival.  That's right, Sequim will be hosting a Balloon Festival this summer.  I believe it will be Labor Day weekend, but I'm not positive.

We also have a fun FORD collection just in time for your Father's Day projects.  I love the paper with all of the old cards on it.  The print is smaller, so it works well for cards.

Creative Imaginations has introduced TWO fun new summer/beach collections.  I only had room to preview one, so you'll have to stop by the store for a look at the second collection.  It has more of a fun retro feel.

Be sure to stop in for a look at the new summer products that are arriving.

My Favorite Things- Martinis on Me

Today we're sharing a card made with My Favorite Things Stamp Set, "Martinis On Me".  I used some of the new Studio Calico papers that recently arrived and my Copic markers to create this card.  Hope you enjoy it.

Here's another favorite from My Favorite Things "Wishing You Luck" set.  This set would be great for a graduation card.  There are additional sentiments that say "Wishing you luck" and "Good luck".

Paper Smooches- New Stamp Line

We are now carrying Paper Smooches stamps created by Kim Hughes.  Her images are whimsical, playful and great for new copic users.  They are also made in the USA!  The set we are featuring today has some fun animal images and great sayings.  We hope you'll like the new stamps as much as we do.

What's New Wednesday

We've got more fun stuff this week.  Party supplies in Sequim and Port Angeles school colors have arrived and we are stocked for your graduation, sporting and school events.  Here's to the class of 2012!  Congrats.

Studio Calico Mister Huey's color mists and Wood Veneers came in last week.   I can't wait to create some fun projects with them.  Check out their blog for some fun ideas.

The last image is a card I created using a new line of stamps from Paper Smooches.  These images are designed by Kim Hughes and the stamps are made right here in the USA!  Yippee!  They are fun, whimsical and perfect for the Copic marker beginner.

Basic Grey Picnic Stamp Set

Mason jars are so popular this year!  I loved the one included in this set and had to have it.  The fireflies and/or bees were an added bonus.  They are so cute.  

Most of my craft supplies are still not unpacked. So, with limited tools I created some samples to share.

 

Here are the images of the stamps that are included in the set.  I also used the pennant die from Lifestyle Crafts new circus collection, on the cupcake card.  This die is limited in production and will not be reproduced once they are sold out.  Get yours before they are gone.
