Tuesday with Toni: Mama Elephant Sloths & Tree Branch Cover

We've had unseasonably warm and sunny weather up here in the Pacific Northwest so I celebrated a bit with some cute spring cards. Both use the Mama Elephant Tree Branch Cover die, one the positive and one the negative--stretch those supplies (especially now that they're harder to get!).

For the first card I adhered the ME Tree Branch die cut onto a card base of Doodlebug Designs Spring Things 6x6 paper. Of course, any paper would work--the cuter the better!

I then die cut out some of the included leaves and adhered those down.

Next I stamped, cut and colored (Copic E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, R20, BG72) the Mama Elephant Little Sloth Agenda images. They are sooooo cute and it was ever so fun to position them on the card front.

I stamped the MFT Sunshine & Friendship sentiment with Versamark and embossed it on vellum. I'm planning on joining those cuties and will be soaking up as much sun as possible.

As promised, the second card uses the negatives of the Mama Elephant Tree Branch Cover die. That's a lot of paper just to throw away so I didn't!

I didn't bother adhering the pieces in order.  As long as you could still see a branch, I was fine with however it looked.

Just like with the first card, I added leave and this time added some of the flowers too. Such a sweet backdrop for those MFT Tweet Friends. They're adorable!  I colored them with Copic E40, E41, E42, E43, R20, RV55, RV63, RV66, and Y19.

I'll see you soon with more inspiration.  In the meantime, if you'd like to check out my other creations, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Friday with Amy: Stay Safe | Waffle Flower

Hello and Happy Friday!  It's Amy here sharing a card that is a bit of a mash up with:

Here's how I was inspired:

I've been wanting to ink up the cute Waffle Flower Be Her stamp set.  All those critters are so cute and I love that they come with a bunch of different accessories.  I decided to feature that sweet kitty.

I dressed her up in a hair bow, scarf and of course, tea cup.  That scarf duos as her face mask.

I decided to add one of the sentiments from the Waffle Flower Free Printable to Thank Health Heroes.  I thought it worked perfectly with my scenery that I designed.

These are the copics I used:

Y00 | Y15
G43 |YG63
YR0000 | E42
C8

I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Tuesday with Toni: Mama Elephant Display a Card

Hello, everyone! Today I'm sharing a sweet baby card using Mama Elephant Family Time and Display a Card.

The Mama E Display a Card die set is super easy to use (link to video instructions).  It's like a shadow box that perfectly fits on an A2 card front.

I found this made the scene really easy to create because of it's larger sizer--it was less fiddly than other box cards I've done.

I used Lawn Fawn Dandy Day and Spring Fling 6x6 papers for the hills, sky and tree. I love the neutral palette with the white and kraft, don't you?  I colored up the Family Time deer using Copic E31, E40, E42, E43, and E44, a lovely set of neutrals.

I embossed the sentiment on a Lawn Fawn Simply Wavy Banner and added a few Memory Box butterflies to finish up the card.  Didn't that turn out cute?!

I'll see you soon with more inspiration.  If you'd like to check out my other creations, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hey, happy Friday!  It's Amy here sharing a card that features Avery Elle:

Here's how I was inspired:

I think those Jungle friends are so cute!  They make great caffeinated buddies, don't they?  With lots of layers and no foam adhesive, I managed to design a postal friendly design.

Bonus Day with Toni: More Unicorn Girls!

I love this set so had to make another card with it. Definitely not the last either!

I used many of the same elements I had used on Tuesday's card: MFT Unicorns and Glitter, Avery Elle Pierced Clouds and Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine Remix 6x6 paper.

Again, I colored up the images using Copics, including the sassy kitty on the inside of the card.

The inside of the card ties in with the Lawn Fawn Peacock Before 'n' Afters sentiment I used on the front. The main paper ties in with the sentiment too!

I was able to use some unicorn-themed washi I had on hand, using the rainbows on the inside and the golden stars right above the Avery Elle Dotted Border on the front.

Now did you have a favorite unicorn card from this week?  Too hard for me to choose!

Tuesday with Toni: MFT Unicorns and Glitter

This week I have two cards for you using the MFT Unicorns and Glitter set although I think of it as the Unigirls set.  LOL.

I know, I know--the cuteness is killing me too!

I stamped and colored up the MFT Unicorns and Glitter images using Copics pulling colors from the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine Remix 6x6 Paper.

For the background, I die cut the LF paper using Avery Elle Pierced Clouds dies. I love the dotted edges!

I stamped and embossed the sentiment on one of the cloud banks.  Ack, just too cute!

Now be sure to come back on Thursday for another cutie patootie card!

Friday with Amy : Oh Happy Day | Pretty Pink Posh + Avery Elle Stamps

Hello, we made it to another Friday!  It's Amy here sharing a bit of a mash up with Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle Stamps:

Here's how I was inspired:

So I'm stretching the Thanksgiving Scene stamp.  I think it easily passes for a party with pie ala mode!  Ms Mouse is making her way to the front of the line with her shamrock green Fiestaware plate.

I realize these critters are NOT practicing their social distancing but I'm looking forward to when I can gather with family and friends.  Everyone in my crowded scenery looks so happy and it makes me a happy crafter.

The sentiment is sold with the Oval Burst Elle-ments Die.  It's perfect for my design.

Here are the copics I used:

R43 | R35
Y19 | Y35
YG23 | YG25
YR0000 | E42
C00 | C1

Tuesday with Toni: Piggy in the Park

I've been trying to get some outside time in lately although the weather (and, of course, the social distancing restrictions) can make that difficult.  Who knew walking to the mailbox could be exciting!  LOL.

I'm quite jealous of the Avery Elle Sweet Swine zipping along and enjoying the park I created using Sunny Studio Spring Scenes.

I created the park scene first, using the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil then coloring the scene using Copics. [I normally post a pic of the Copics used but forgot to take the pic before I put them away--oops!]

I airbrushed the sidewalk and used a Lawn Fawn Slide on Over die to cut the channel.  I then stamped the three sentiments onto the channel piece and adhered it to the card base.  Once I had colored the AE piggy, I used two MFT Slider Elements and positioned him in the slider channel.

Notice in the last pic you can see the two discs I had orignally used beneath the wheels but I discovered the discs weren't necessary.  I also discovered that the pig didn't slide as smoothly as it could so I redid the mechanism using acetate discs on the bottom.  Success!

I'll see you next week!  If you'd like to check out my other creations, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Friday with Amy: Hooray | Mama Elephant

Hello and Happy Friday!  It's Amy here with a card that features Mama Elephant:

Here's how I was inspired:

This scenery cracks me up.  See that Tiger with the bubble tea?  Yeah, that's me while the others hold down the balloons.

I made this card while multitasking.  It was via a ZOOM session with my local crafty group.  How fun is that?  Although it isn't the same we still had loads of fun and tons of chatter.

I used the MFT Stamps Stencil - Cloud with the following distress oxides:

Have you tried out the Blending Brushes?  Oh my goodness, they make the stencil work so easy.  I used Bristol for my panel.

The copics I used:

R21 | R22
YR0000 | E000
V01 | V12
