Our Favorite Products for Holiday Card Making

We've been busy stocking the shelves at Doodlebugs with seasonal products and thought we'd share with you some of our favorite products for Holiday card making and paper crafting projects.

EMBOSSING POWDERS
Embossing powders are great all year.  However, for some reason, we seem to reach for these wonderful powders more often during the Holidays. You'll find all sorts of wonderful embossing powders HERE.  If you're planning on embossing your Holiday cards, don't forget VersaMark ink!

A few of our favorites?

Glittered embossing powders from WOW! and Ranger.

White Puff embossing powder from Hero Arts is also a must for snow, Santa hats and snowmen!

PIGMENT INKS
My favorite metallic inks are  Delicata Golden Glitz and Delicata Silvery Shimmer from Tsukineko.  They are amazing!

STICKLES
What's a Holiday project without some glitter?  Love these little bottles of Stickles glitter glue for adding that little touch of glitter that every Holiday card needs.  You'll find them HERE.

SNOW MARKER
Another favorite Holiday product of ours is the snow marker.  It's great for adding dimension to Santa hats, snow on rooftops, bunny tails and clouds.  We use it all year round, but reach for it most often during the holidays.  You'll find those fabulous markers HERE.

FOR YOUR MISTAKES
We love the sand eraser for removing small smudges of unwanted ink from your projects.  I can't tell you how many times this handy eraser has saved a project from the trash.  The adhesive eraser is another must have.  It's great for removing unwanted adhesive!

Oh Christmas Tree from MFT Stamps

Today we have another card featuring Oh Christmas Tree from MFT Stamps.  If you missed the previous card using this stamp set, you'll find it on our post for Monday.

We decided to create a circle card using the Stax Double Stitched Circle die and the Stitched Circle Frames dies from MFT Stamps.  After stamping the tree with green ink and the Silvery Shimmer Delicata ink, we embellished it with some Silver Stickles.

I think this would make a great shaker card, or a Holiday tag for a package.

Pix's Happy Holiday from Mama Elephant

The little Holiday bunnies from Mama Elephant's Pix's Happy Holiday set are adorable!  Today we're sharing a card and tag we created using this little angel.

After stamping the image onto watercolor paper, we colored it using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  Be sure to stamp using Archival Ink or something that is waterproof.  The stitched rectangle and scalloped rectangle were cut using Blueprints #20 from MFT Stamps.

The tag was cut from the Stitched Traditional Tag Die from MFT Stamps.  We used the  Home Collection dies from Mama Elephant  to create the little village at the bottom of the tag.

For both projects, we used the Gold and  Stardust Stickles from Ranger to add some sparkle to the bunny angel.

Stardust Stickles from Ranger
Sparkly Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh
