Quarterly Spring Kit

We're sharing a couple cards we created using our NEW Spring Kit.  We hope you enjoy them!

We decided to use Distress Inks and Distress Markers to create some soft watercolor images for these cards.  We added the ink directly to the stamps, misted them generously with water, and stamped them onto watercolor paper. 

The twine included in our Spring Kit is natural in color.  We used the Distress Ink to color the twine, matching it perfectly to our card.

Today we're sharing a card created using our new Spring Kit.

We used VersaMark ink to stamp the leaves onto blue cardstock.  The sentiment was heat embossed using white embossing powder on vellum.

Heart Strings from Concord and 9th

Thought we'd share a fun shaker card we created using the Heart Strings die from Concord and 9th.

We used alcohol inks to create that "watercolored" acetate for the shaker window.  Super easy...just dropped a few colors onto the acetate sheet and let them dry.  To create the background, we used the Barnwood Background stamp and white ink on kraft cardstock
