Having it all is great - but having a little is good, too! Hi, my friends! I'm back today to show you how to patiently await those items that are 'out of stock' through no fault of our own! lol
I recently purchased Pinkfresh Studio's Songbirds on Branches but had not gotten there quick enough to get the coordinating dies! OH I got on the email list right away, believe me! Doodlebugs does a great job of notifying you - but you'd better get there quick, as this set continues to be a favorite.
Here's how I played with the items I DID get: The layering stencils, and hot foil plate - and a few more favorites from Pinkfresh, too!
I first hot-foiled the outlines, then used the layers of stencils to color them
using a few of my favorite colors.
The panel was cut with a die from MFT's Stitched Rectangles, and a sweet little sentiment from the Pinkfresh set of Perfect Sentiments and coordinating dies. Simple, easy to mail, and very sweet IMHO! I can now happily wait for the Songbird on Branches dies to arrive!
Sure to bring a smile to the one I'm missing! Hope you have a few of your favorite people around you this weekend and that all of your wish list items get delivered so you can enjoy a bit of stenciling and hot-foiling in your own studio!

ReplyDeleteDitto Marcia's comment! Loving the card! Haven't adopted hot foiling but I might need to save a little more to do so!

ReplyDeleteOh my stars, I told you I love it! This is just beautiful, Michele. Love the colors and the sentiment is just perfect with this darling pair!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Those birds are definitely sweet with their "love" showing through as they gaze at each other. Your card is bound to bring a "warm, fuzz" to someone's heart
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful card Michele and having some and not all still means you can still make a beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous is Tracey McNeely, Google isn't playing nice this morning! 😉
DeleteThis is so gorgeous, and look at you hot foiling like the pro you are! I sure do love these lovey dovey birds... The colors you chose are so perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely as is I don't even think you need the dies, Michele. But I know what you mean about waiting. I waited forever for that Perfect Sentiments die and it arrived in Ohio just after we left.
ReplyDeleteIt just shows that you don't need everything to make a fabulous card. Love it xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card Michele, and you have certainly shown us that you can make due with what you have. I love the hot plate foiling and the stenciling on this card. I don't have a hot plate but sure love seeing what all people are doing with theirs! The stenciling on this card blows me away...I love the shading. A beautiful card indeed! Hugs, Brenda
