Wednesday with Mayra: Lawn Fawn-Life's A Picnic With You

Hello everyone!!! I am beyond excited and grateful to now be part of the wonderful Doodlebugswa design team!!! I look forward to sharing projects with you and I hope to inspire you to create. 

For today I have two fun slimline cards to share with you. 

I used the super cute Lawn Fawn Crazy Antics stamp set along with several other goodies by Lawn Fawn. I began by using the Large Slimline with Sliders, and Small Slimline with Lift The Flaps dies along with the Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders. I die cut them using Bristol Smooth cardstock. 

I used Distress Oxide inks to create the sky and the grassy hills for the scenes of each card. 

I used Salty Ocean for the sky and Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Pine Needles for the grass. 

I then used the Cloudy Stencil with white pigment ink to add a cloud border to the sky for each layer of the cards. 

I then colored the images I would be using to create the picnic scenes for each of the cards. 

I used A Bug Deal (ladybugs, leaves, branches, and cupcake), Butterfly Kisses (butterflies), Eggstra Amazing Easter (little bow), Oh Gnome (mushrooms), Sweet Friends (strawberries), along with Dandy Day, and Cutie Pie stamp sets. 

After coloring the images I assembled the cards. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the 

Crazy Antics stamp set using Wow! Embossing Powder.

After adding the sentiments to each of the cards they were finished.
