Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday and happy September. Which is your favorite season of the year? Mine is Autumn. I love the changing colors, the beauty of the leaves, everything about Fall. I love creating Autumn themed cards. As you can imagine, I had a blast creating these cards to share with you today. I used the super sweet Unicorn Picnic stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I combined the images from the Unicorn Picnic set with the leaves from the Jump For Joy, the cute coffee cup from Pumpkin Spice, the little (super cute) pumpkins from Spooky Village, and the other unicorn from the adorable A Little Sparkle stamp set. I also used the picnic blanket from the Crazy Antics stamp set.
I began my cards by adding Distress Oxide Inks to the backgrounds. I used Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, and Dried Marigold.
I then colored all of my images using Copic markers. I wanted a bright Autumn inspired color theme.
For the bright plum color, I used RV55, V06, and V04. For the bright pink, I used RV55, RV52, and RV66. For the yellow gold areas, I used Y32, YR15, YR16, Y08, and Y00.
Next, I used the Foursquare Backdrop die and the Oval Scallop Frames to die cut the top layers for my cards. I then stamped the sentiments onto each one using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink.
For the second card, I also die cut a grassy hill and the little mushrooms using the Mushroom Border Lawn Cuts Die by Lawn Fawn.
I assembled my first card.
For the second card, I made it into a shaker card.
I love the Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sparkling Jewels
and Pretty Pink Posh Seed Beads in Clear.
I hope you enjoy the cards I created to share with you today.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hoping you each have a wonderful and blessed day.
