2019 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

We're sharing a couple of coffee themed projects and a discount for everyone!

My first project was created using the Slider Surprise die from MFT Stamps and the How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-on stamp and coordinating die.  I love making slider cards with this die.  It's super easy and not "fussy" like other interactive dies.

The background was created using the new Whimsical Christmas stencil from Pretty Pink Posh and Ballet Slippers ink from Lawn Fawn.  The cookies were stamped with Warm Glow Amalgam Ink from Gina K (Copic friendly) and colored with Copic markers.  The frosting was embossed with white embossing powder.

The coffee cup  was cut using the Cafe All Day die from MFT Stamps.  I stamped it with the Diagonal Stripe background stamp from MFT Stamps, but it would also be cute cut from some holiday, patterned paper.  All the pieces were added to the slide up portion of the card using foam dimensional tape.  Be sure the tape does not extend over the edge of the center piece that slides up.

I added a sweet sentiment to the inside and plan to include a coffee gift card surprise.

My second card was created using the Gina K Wreath Builder template.  This is the first time I've used this, and..I think I'm addicted.  I searched through my stamps for some small coffee and hot cocoa, images.  I found both of these in the Holiday Helpers set from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped them with my copic friendly ink and colored them with Copic Markers.  I also stamped some snowflakes.  However, I should have used a darker blue.  They don't show up too well. [sad face]

I added two snowmen from the Little Snowman Agenda stamp set from Mama Elephant.  Love those sweet snowmen!  I added some White Blizzard Glitter Drops to the whip cream, marshmallows, and the snowman heart and hat.  It's super cute in person, but hard to see in the photo.

Although this is a square card, it is 4.25" x 4.25" and fits into a regular A2 envelope.  So, no extra postage for mailing.
