Valentine with Non-Traditional Colors

Hi, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a Valentine card using the adorable Lawn Fawn Penguin Party set.

I chose to sponge a selection of blue Distress Oxides (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean & Broken China) on the card base to go with the chilly penguin environment. As usual, I spattered some water to add a bokeh snow effect.

I adhered the Mama Elephant Heart Grid Window on top then added a stitched hillside diecut.

I colored up the Lawn Fawn Penguin Party images using Copics, making sure to add a generous amount of Clear Wink of Stella and a sprinkling of sequin snowflakes for good measure.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

You Are Cerealsly Awesome...

Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday!! I am sharing a fun valentine with you today. I used the adorable new Cerealsly Awesome stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by coloring the image from the set using Copic markers. I also used the small hearts from the Scent With Love Add-on stamp set. For the red, I used R05, R27, R46, and R59. For the soft pink, I used R01, E93, R00, and R30.

Next, I used the Fluttering Hearts Cover Plate die from Honey Bee Stamps to die cut the base layer of the card. I then die cut the oval and scalloped oval layers using the Lawn Fawn Giant Holiday Messages Lawn Cuts die and the Giant Birthday Messages Lawn Cuts dies. I then used the Giant XOXO die to die cut the phrase from red cardstock. The speech bubble is from the Bookmark It dies set and the small banner over the speech bubble is from the Framed Tags Madison Avenue die set. The banner for the sentiment on the oval is from the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag. I then stamped the sentiment from the set using Distress Oxide ink in Tattered Rose, and Lawn fawn ink in Minty Fresh and Lobster

I hope you enjoy this fun card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogIG or Pinterest.

Simplified Valentine Slimline Shaker

Hi, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a super cute Valentine using the Mama Elephant Owl Are You with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Slimline Portrait with Hearts dies.

I started the card by cutting out the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Slimline Portrait with Hearts dies using a sturdy white cardstock.  I sponged the scalloped edging with the Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick, spattered it with water and set it aside to dry.

Then I added acetate behind the heart windows along with sequins and Honey Bee Love Letters 6x6 Paper to make the shaker. The HB paper already has a sponged ombre look so that saved some time.  I also could have made a single shaker for all three hearts but opted to use Scor-tape to make each individual.

I colored up the Mama Elephant Owl Are You images with Zigs with some Copics dots for feather texture.  They're sooooo cute!

For the sentiment I used one of the leftover hearts from Lawn Fawn Scalloped Slimline Portrait with Hearts diecuts and backed it with the Honey Bee Love Letters 6x6 Paper.  I then embossed the Mama Elephant Owl Are You sentiment and stacked it on top.

Offsetting the images and sentiments on top of the heart windows makes the card look more complicated than it is. Now time to impress your Valentine!

Non-Traditional Valentine with Honey Bee Stamps...

Happy Wednesday everyone!! Today I am sharing this non-traditional color Valentine card. I used the beautiful Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Coneflower die.

I began by die cutting the layers to create the base of the card using the Basic Rectangles Creative Cuts die set, the hearts from the Bookmark It Creative Cuts set, the banner and scalloped rectangle from the Framed Tags Madison Avenue Creative Cuts set, and the Giant Be My Valentine die from Lawn Fawn.

I assembled the flower and the card base. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamps Heart stamp set onto the banner. I hope you enjoy this fun card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogIG or Pinterest.
