Hope Your Day Sparkles with Lawn Fawn...

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone. Mayra here with you today. I am so happy to be here sharing this card with you. I am on a unicorn themed spree at the moment, lol. It all started with my niece turning 3. I asked what theme she would like for her birthday card...as you can guess the answer was unicorns. I chose to create this fun card using the Unicorn Picnic stamp set from Lawn Fawn

I began by coloring the images from the set. I used Copic markers to color them in. I then die cut the layers for the castle from the Build A Castle die setand the layers for the scene I would be creating for the unicorns. I added a bit of color to the base panel using Minty Fresh, Merman, and Peacock. I also added a bit of Sunflower ink to the Sunrise Backdrop.

I then assembled the castle and added a bit of color using Lawn Fawn ink in the color Plastic Flamingo. I layered the base panel onto a piece of bright pink cardstock that was die cut using the Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables

I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blog, IG or Pinterest.

Hello from Toni: Sunny Studio Garden Fairy

Hi, everybody!  Are you itching for spring as much as I am?  I'm tired of the gloom and am so ready for the blooms!  Fortunately my hyacinth and daffodils are poking their heads out so soon I'll have lots and lots of pink in my garden.  Woo hoo!

My card which features the Sunny Studio Garden Fairy set uses pink and then more pink.  I used it on the sky and trees of the Sunny Studio Country Scene,  on the Sunny Studio Woodsy Autumn tree and on the Sunny Studio Garden Fairy images.

A little Zig pink goes a looooong way.  Lots of green on this spring card too. I used Zigs with a few Copics to add simple details.  Just too too cute!

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Happy Birthday with Waffle Flower...

Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday, Mayra here with you today. I am always super happy to be here. I have a fun birthday-themed card to share with you. I used the adorable Sea Birthday and the Classic Sentiments stamp sets from Waffle Flower stamps.

I began by coloring the images using Copic markers. I used RV42, R21, R30, and R00 for the soft pink areas. For the purple, I used V20, BV01, BV11, and a bit of FV2. For the mauve color, I used RV95,  RV34, RV91, and BV000

Next, I added color to the panel I would use on the inside of the card. I used Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Victorian Velvet, and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks.  Waffle Flower has amazing sets to die-cut rectangles and circles: Additional Circles and Additional A2 Layers dies.

They also have a wonderful video on how to create a mirror image by using the Media Mat

I hope you enjoyed the birthday card I created to share with you today. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogInstagram, or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Mama Elephant Milkshake

Hello, everyone!  I love the new Mama Elephant Milkshake set. So cute (and so yummy in real life!). I used mine for a Valentine but it's great for all sorts of things.

I started my card by sponging the card base with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry.  I then applied 1/2-inch Scor-tape along the edges of the card and burnished Doodlebugs glitter onto it with my finger. So shiny and pretty!

Next I cut out the Mama Elephant Big Scripty Hello and sponged it with Distress Oxide Barn Door and Distress Ink Candied Apple which I then spattered with water and Picked Raspberry. Once dry, I applied a layer of Versamark and embossed it with WOW! Clear Sparkle Embossing Glitter

Next I stamped the ME Milkshake image onto the middle part of the Mama Elephant Oval Deco Frame.  I masked the image then sponged the panel with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Hearts A Stencil.

I colored up the image with Zigs then assembled the card, adding a Lawn Fawn Candy Heart because you can never have too much cuteness! LOL.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

You Are A Hoot...Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!! Mayra here with you today. It is almost Valentine's Day, are you ready? I have enjoyed creating Valentine-themed cards. I created this Owl themed Valentine's to share with you today. I used the new Special Delivery and  Special Delivery Box Add-on stamp sets from Lawn Fawn.

I started by coloring the images I would be using. I also used the frame from the Den Sweet Den, my favorite little bows from the Eggstra Amazing Easter the smaller branch, and leaves from the A Bug Deal stamp sets. I used Copic markers to color the images in. For the owls, I used E41, E31, E81, E55, and E84. For the red areas, R59, R46, R17, and R08. For the blue areas, I used B01, B21, B34, and B23.

I then die cut all of the pieces that I would use to create the card, the scene, and the birdhouse.
I used the new Scalloped Slimline with Hearts (Portrait), Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-on, Outside In Stitched Cloud Stackables, and the grass from the Mushroom Border die set. I added color to the sky area using  Forget Me Knot, Fish Tank, and Blue Jay Lawn Fawn inks. Next, I used the Cloudy Stencil to add clouds to the background.

The sentiment on the bottom of the card is from the How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-on stamp set.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogInstagram, or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Beautiful Florals

My goodness, it seems like forever since I've worked with a floral image that wasn't a poinsettia. How refreshing! And such a pretty floral image it is!

For both cards I used the Altenew Paint-a-Flower Anemone stamp set, one stamped directly onto the card base and the other as a layered image.

On the first, I masked the image after coloring it with Zigs. I then spritzed it with Distress Ink Speckled Egg Spray.  This is my first time using this product and I really like the result. It reminded me of rain so I added drops of Glossy Accents onto the flower petals.

I colored up the second image with Zigs too then added Polychromos colored pencil accents.  Quite a lot actually.  The pencils are fabulous for adding depth of color.

I used Honey Bee Lover Letter 6x6 paper for the card background which I fancied up with gold foil. I love pink and gold together.

Now I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the card but I sassed that up too.  I stamped the floral image with Distress Oxide Spun Sugar and then stamped the "Beautiful Inside and Out" sentiment on top.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Bee Themed Valentine's with Lawn Fawn...

Hello everyone!! Happy February everyone!! I have a Bee themed Valentine set to share with you today. I used lots of cute products from Lawn Fawn.

I began by die cutting the layers I would be using to create the scene for the card, the bees, and the heart Valentines. I used the Tiny Gift Box, Tiny Gift Box Bee Add-on, Polka Heart Backdrop Landscape die, the Meadow Backdrop Portrait die, the Little Flowers dies, Lift the Flap Meadow, Oliver's Stitched ABC's. For the grass areas, I used the grass from the Mushroom Border set, and the hill from the Slimline Simple Stitched Hillside Border set. Next, I used the hearts from the Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables and Lacy Hearts Stackables for the heart-shaped Valentine's.

I then added color to the die-cut panel, and the two hearts using Forget-Me-Not, Moonstone, and a bit of Fish Tank Lawn Fawn Inks. For the grass areas, I used Celery Stick, Cilantro, and Jalapeno. To add a bit of color to the yellow areas, I used Sunflower Lawn Fawn ink and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink. For the wings, I added a bit of Fresh Lavender and Merman ink.

Next, I used the Cloudy Stencil to add cloud layers to all of the panels. I then added a bit of color to the tree trunks from the Lift the Flap Meadow die set. I used Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs. I then stamped the smaller sentiment from the Special Delivery stamp set onto the hearts that would be in the center.

I also used the Tiny Gift Box and the Bee Add-on to create a coordinating treat box.

I hope you enjoyed the Valentine treats cards I created to share with you today. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogInstagram, or Pinterest

Hello from Toni: Hey, Honey

I'm layering on the sweet and cute this week with Valentine's Day just around the corner.  In fact, with the US mail being so overwhelmed, I best get these in the mail like yesterday.

I paired the new Honey Bee Love Letters 6x6 paper, HB Honey dies, and HB Honey Stamps with the HB Honey Bees on the first card. Notice I colored a few of the background hearts with Copic Y38 (honey, of course!).

I used the Sunny Studio Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace to frame the designer paper. A relatively simple backround which allows the blingy glitter bits to shine--I particularly love the black glitter fun foam.

I used the reverse side of the leftover Honey Bee Love Letters 6x6 paper strip as the vertical element in the second card. I love how well the different papers go together even tho I wouldn't have thought so just by looking, you know what I mean?

I used the HB Honey die again too, this time using "bunny" along with the Mama Elephant Big News bunny.  So cute!

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.
