Memory Box- Floral Heart Die
Emily has been playing with some of the Memory Box dies we received. We have some beautiful heart and butterfly dies that we know you're going to love. If you haven't been by, stop in for a look.
One of the dies we received was the Floral Heart. Emily created this beautiful card with it. I thought it would make a wonderful wedding card. Change the sentiment and add some clear Wink of Stella to the top of the die cut piece, and you've got the perfect card for the next wedding you'll attend.
Here's a close up of the heart. Emily die cut the heart 5 or 6 times and stacked them together for this great look! Give it a try with some of the dies you have and post a picture in our Creative Community.

Memory Box- Butterfly Heart
Emily created this beautiful card a few weeks back. I've haven't been able to post it here on our blog, as we keep selling out of the die before I get the chance. So, we finally have plenty of stock (fingers crossed)!
Come on in and get the die before it's gone again.
Here's a close up of those butterflies. It's hard to see in the image, but she added some clear Wink of Stella to the wings.

Art Journal Inspiration
We haven't shared much from our art journals lately. So, I thought I'd give you a peek inside mine today. I've been drawing flowers lately. Lots of different flowers, but these are my favorites right now.
We are now carrying the Copic Liner pens. Which means, if I'd like, I can add color to these with my Copic markers. I haven't decided if I should use the Copics or add some watercolors. What do you think?
Here's the entire page. I'm thinking of adding a few more flowers and them some color. I'll post the results next week.

Memory Box- Cityscape Die
I use this die often. I find it suitable for numerous occasions and love how it fits on cards. It's just the right size for an A2 card.
I've been getting ready for my Watercolor Workshop and had some extra pieces of watercolor scraps that were perfect for creating this card.
I cut the Cityscape die from my painted scraps and the Cityscape Silhouette from some black cardstock. I layered the two pieces together and placed them on a piece of Mixed Media cardstock that I watercolored with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
I used the Cosmic Star set for the stars and Watt's Up stamp set from MFT Stamps for the sentiment.

Die Cut Inspiration
We have more die cut inspiration, along with a little watercolor for today's blog post. Hopefully you've joined our Creative Community on Facebook and are participating in our Die Cut Creative Challenge this month.
We used the Darla Butterfly die and Contempo Circle Border die, both from Memory Box, to create the card below.
The butterfly was cut from our favorite Mixed Media paper from Strathmore. It's great for watercolor techniques! We placed some Tim Holtz Distress Inks onto our non-stick craft mat, misted it with water, and then "smashed" the butterfly into the colors. Once it dried, we had a beautiful watercolor butterfly. You could also apply this same technique to a larger sheet, and then cut the butterfly from watercolor paper.
We embellished the card with the die cut border and some colorful enamel dots!
