What's New Wednesday

With our Open House behind us, we should be back to our regular "What's New Wednesday" posts.  We've got some fun, new, stuff to show  you this week.

We have some great patriotic, red, white and blue, party supplies, papers, and embellishments.  They are just in time for your Memorial Day celebrations.

Here are few papers from Authentique's Pride Collection.

Next on our "What's New" list...Sizzix flower dies from designer Susan Tierney Cockburn.  She's a wonderful artist we had the opportunity to meet at the CHA show in January.  She helped us created some beautiful, amazing, and realistic daffodils from paper using her dies and flower making kit.  She is also a neighbor.  She lives in Redmond, WA.  Watch her on You Tube as she creates these beautiful flowers.  Rose Video Link   Pansy Video Link   Peony Video Link

Oh, and just in case you are wondering, we are getting the Pan Pastels she's using in the videos.  They'll be arriving soon.

Also, watch for a class coming in June.  Mary will be teaching you how to create these wonderful flowers and giving you the tool kit to take home after class!!

Are you looking for something fun to do on Friday?  Join downtown Sequim for the First Friday Art Walk.  Then, while you're downtown, join us for a FREE "Make and Take" and "Gift With Purchase".  We will be offering the "Make and Take" shown below, from 5PM until 7PM, while supplies last.  Please, no "early birds".  We won't be starting the project until 5PM.  For an added bonus,  we thought we'd give away a FREE Quickutz/Lifestyle Crafts, WA State die so you could make these cards at home.  So, if you spend $25 or more, between 5PM and 7PM, we'll give you the die FREE, while supplies last.
