Holly Jolly Stamp Set from Hero Arts

Today, we're featuring a quick and easy card using the Holly Jolly stamp set from Hero Arts.

We inked up the solid portion of the stamp with two different green Distress Inks and stamped it onto mixed media paper.  Using a wet brush, we washed it over the stamped area, activating and moving the inks to get a loose watercolor effect.  We repeated the same process with the berries.

We stamped the berries with the outline stamp and Jet Black Archival Ink.  Masked off the berries with masking paper, and then stamped the leaf outline using the same Jet Black ink.   We used some of the same inks and a wet brush to flick color onto the white areas.  The sentiment is form the same set.
