Creative Cafe

This is the last Friday in April.  That means next Friday we are back to the regular price for our Creative Cafe projects.  So, stop in today, between 4:30PM and 6:30PM, for a bargain.  We're making this cute umbrella card with the MFT stamp and die umbrella set.  The project is ONLY $1.

What's New Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone.  Several new products have arrived this week.  We received 36 of the Diffuser plates from the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alterations collection and have only a handful left.  If this is something you've had your eye on......you better get it now.  Take a peek at the video below for a quick look at how these work.  We also received several of his vintage icon dies.  (see the image below)

Attention WASHI TAPE fans!  We got an assortment of fun new washi tapes in.  Several vintage styles and several fun, colorful and bold designs.  I love the yellow chevron design and have been dying to use it on a card.  If I could only get my craft room unpacked and organized.

Echo Park has introduced three new collections that we finally have in stock.  These collection are GREAT for those of you working on Project Life.  The sticker sheets have lots of small pieces perfect for Project Life.  I also love their papers.  They have some great designs and phrases that are easy to cut and use for journal boxes and fun elements on your page.  If you are working on a Project Life Album, check out Simple Stories collections as well.  They have great papers with fun journal boxes and elements that are just the right size for Project Life.

We also just received some fun new party products just in time for graduation.  We've got lots of purple & gold as well as green & white party accessories, graduation cupcake wrappers, cupcake stands, treat bags and lots more.

Make It Monday

Moving

This week is CRAZY.  I'm moving (not far, just across town).  My entire craft room, the office, everything is packed in boxes.  I'll be taking a short break from the blog.  I'll be back with lots of fun stuff in about a week.

Stampendous- Union Pacific Railroad

I couldn't pass up this stamp.  My husband, his father, my dad, and many others on my husband's side of the family have worked for the railroad and the Union Pacific.  So, when I saw this stamp, I had to have it. 

I used some Tim Holtz distress inks to create some color and mounted it on some paper from American Crafts.  My husband says they look like flowers (they aren't flowers) and I shouldn't use flowers on a masculine card.  It seems like most masculine cards are dark, and lack color.  I thought this was a perfect way to add some color.

What's New Wednesday

Again, we have lots of new products this week.  Above are a few of my favorites.  Of course, I'm a sucker for MFT Stamps.  I love the girl with  the umbrella and made her into a card as soon as we got her.  We also received one with a Martini, one from the Pure Innocence collection, and more stamp and die sets.

Another favorite is the Pretty Party collection from Crate Paper.  They have a sheet of paper with adorable little strawberries on it.  LOVE it!

Lastly, we have an awesome new storage solution for your wafer thin dies from Spellbinders, Lifestyle Crafts and the Die-namics from MFT.  You've got to check this out.  It's perfect!

MFT Stamps- The Rainbow Will Come

This week I'm sharing a card made with one of the new stamps from MFT Stamps.  It's from the "a la modes" collection and is called " The Rainbow Will Come".  It's perfect for the Pacific Northwest.  I also used my new favorite border punch.  It's from American Crafts Knock Out punch and is the zig zag pattern.  It simple, without being too frilly.  Enjoy.

The following Copic colors were used:  R24, 27, & 29;  E31, 35, & 37;  E00, 11, & 21;  Y06, 08, & 15;  BG000 & 01;  YG21, 23, & 25.

What's New Wednesday

We've got more fun products to share this week.  I can't believe it, but the Flip-It's dies from Sizzix have FINALLY arrived.  I say finally, because I first shared a video with you featuring these fun new dies......last summer.  They were worth the wait.  They are going to make the cutest cards.  I can't wait to play with them.  (See video below).

We also received 7 new embossing folders from Vintaj for their metal blanks.  Use these with the Patinas from Ranger and you've got some beautiful pieces of jewelry.  (See video below)

Lastly, we received some fun new products from Tim Holtz.  We've got the new Honeycomb and Bubble embossing folder, some Movers and Shapers dies (Matchbook and Envelope), and his new Kraft Core paper.

Stop in soon for a look.  Some of these items will not stick around long.  Many of the Tim Holtz dies are already sold out at the manufacturer.  ( I was told they weren't even able to fill all of the orders)  So, if you are a Tim Holtz fan....hurry in.

If the Shoe Fits- Unity Stamps

Remember this stamp from Friday?  We'll Sherree used it to create another fun card.  It's always nice to have several different ways to use the same stamp.  She used the glitter tape from American Crafts and a rhinestone flower  to create some bling.  She used the Copic markers to color her shoe (cool grey's).
