This weeks pocket scrapbooking /Project Life cards were created using April's stamp and die along with a few additional dies from Technique Tuesday. We paired the Technique Tuesday products up this week with one of our favorite paper collections, Jen Hadfield's Cottage Living.
Here are some close-ups of each of the cards.
I love this remember die!
That little heart element is from January's die.
Here's that Remember die again. Love it!
We also created a card using April's stamp and March's die.
Here's a close up look at that stamped image and hexagon die.

Technique Tuesday- Say It Birthday
Today we have a birthday card we created using the Say It Birthday die from Technique Tuesday (balloon stamps are from MFT Stamps).
Here's a close-up look at the birthday script and outline die. This die set coordinates with the Say It Birthday Stamp set.

Lawn Fawn - Stuck on You Stamp Set
We created a quick and easy card using Lawn Fawn's Stuck on You stamp set and our challenge product, white pigment ink. Stamp your image using the white ink (our favorite is Unicorn White from Hero Arts) then use dye ink to stamp your image over the white ink. I let the white ink dry for a few minutes before stamping the dye ink, but I'm not sure it's necessary.
I also don't worry about lining the stamps up exactly. I like the effect you get when they are stamped slightly off from one another. Here's a close up look.
The sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Everyday Greetings set.

Weekend Inspiration- Watercolor with Gansai Tambi Paints
The watercolor trend in scrapbooking and cardmaking has been popular for quite some time now and doesn't seem to be going away. Since it is so popular, we decided we should carry a good quality, cake watercolor set. So, a few month ago, we tried several brands of watercolors. We found the one we LOVE, and so did everyone else. It's been hard to get consistently and keep in stock. So, we haven't featured it on our blog.
We finally received quite a few sets, and have several more that should be shipping soon. So, we decided to feature it today as our Weekend Inspiration.
Here's a look at the set of 24.
The colors are intense and amazing. They are super creamy, and wonderful for brush calligraphy.
Here are a few cards showing how vivid the colors are.
Here they are on one of the new Just Add Watercolor canvas boards.
If you've been looking for a good quality set. This is it. As I mentioned earlier, they sell quickly and are hard to get. So, don't think about it too long.
