I love the Season's Greetings die from Avery Elle. We die cut it, and added two layers of silver embossing powder from Ranger to the top of the die cut piece.
We used it to create the fun card shown below.

What's New Wednesday
Happy Wednesday everyone. We have some fun things to share with you today.
First on the list....some fun, new products.
Love, love, love these fine tip acrylic Graphik Marker Sets from Derwent! Great for art journaling and creating doodles. I can't wait to try these on the wood bangles we have in stock
Looking for a way to dress up your canned goods for the Holidays? We just received this wonderful set of embossing folders, specifically designed for canning jar lids. Can't wait to open a package of these and dress up my strawberry jam.
Finally!!! Back in stock, the Wink of Stella pens. Don't wait, they never last long!
We've had so many people asking us for more Holiday classes. So, Mary and I got together and have added two classes to the calendar. Don't wait long to sign up for these. They'll be sold out quickly and we have no additional, free weekends to add another class.

Hero Arts- Holly Jolly Stamp Set
Remember this stamp and die set from our "What's New Wednesday" post last week? We've been having fun making Christmas Cards with this set.
Today we're sharing a card we made using a fun, watercolor, heat emboss technique. We also used the Season's Greetings die from Avery Elle to cut our sentiment from the gold, metallic paper.
The holly leaves were stamped with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto mixed media paper. We created a watercolor effect, by painting the stamped image with a clean, wet brush. The Distress Inks react beautifully when wet, creating a wonderful watercolor look.
We fussy cut the leaves (there is a coordinating die for those of you who don't like to do your own cutting). Once the leaves were dry, we inked them with VersaMark ink, covered them with clear embossing powder and melted the powder with our heat tool. Love that shiny, enameled look.
Here's the set and die we used.

No Saturday "Make and Take" This Week
A quick reminder...there will be no "Make and Take" this month. Our Holiday Workshops and the Thanksgiving Holiday are keeping us super busy on Saturdays this month.
We'll be back in December with some super fun "Make and Takes."
