Happy New Year's Eve Eve everyone! It's the last Mix it up Monday of 2024 and I wanted it to be sweet and filled with love. So we're playing with textured backgrounds and cute little mice.
I started with the Mama Elephant Lacey Love die and the Lawn Fawn All Heart stamps and dies. I used the mouse image as a guide so I could stamp my sentiment on the inner heart. After that was stamped, I added some extra hearts and a little pink ink blending with a blending brush and ballet slippers ink from Lawn Fawn. Then I stamped, colored and cut out my mouse too.
For the background, I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the new Concord & 9th Wood Slat embossing folder. I adhered that to a white card base, then trimmed a piece of teal cardstock from my stash that already had the dots embossed in it and glued it on top. I covered the seam with gold washi tape for a little shine and to keep the transition smooth.
Next I popped my Lacey Heart up with foam squares in the center of the card front, along with my floating mouse on top of that. Then for finishing touches I added black glaze pen to the mouse's eyes and glossy accents to his nose. Then I covered the balloon with stardust Stickles for more sparkles.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of 2024 and I look forward to creating with you in the new year.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Happy Mix it up Monday everyone! Today I'm switching gears away from holiday crafting to play with the most recent Mama Elephant release. This new Build a Bouquet set is adorable, pretty and everything in between! I had so much fun creating this card today.
I stamped my images from Mama Elephant Build a Bouquet first and colored them with copic markers. After cutting them out with the coordinating dies, I built my bouquet, realizing I needed a few more stems to fill things the way I wanted. So I stamped, colored and cut. This time it was perfect. After arranging everything in the slit of the paper image, I used washi tape to hold it all in place, then added dots of liquid glue to ensure it all stayed.
Next, I cut the second-to-largest Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Circle from white cardstock and a slightly smaller circle from teal. Using this with my images as a guide, I figured out that "paper hugs" from the new Mama Elephant Paper Hugs die set fit perfectly off to the side. Using liquid glue, I adhered those layers all together and set them aside to work on my card front.
Keeping things bright and simple I used sunflower ink with a blending brush and the Pretty Pink Posh Starburst stencil. After adding ink through the stencil, I removed it and added another light layer of yellow working my way from the center out. Next, I added my decorated circle with foam tape to the center of the burst.
For finishing touches I kept things simple with a little black glaze pen on the kitty's eyes and glossy accents on the kitty nose and flower centers.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Concord & 9th - Quintessential Scripty Sayings | die
Each of the images has been stamped with Lawn Fawn - Crunchy Leaf. Since I was coloring them with the softer color palette, the Crunchy Leaf is a better match.
I love the Quintessential Scripty Sayings set. It's a fun font that fills up the width of an A2 card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone. I'm on the Doodlebugs blog today for Mix it Up Monday, the last Christmas one of the year. I'm sure most everyone is wrapping up holiday crafting and ready to move on with other things but I really wanted to share this card with you all. It's so sweet and was therapeutic to color the images and pull it all together.
I started off with a bundle of images from the Mama Elephant Little Agenda Sweets set. I stamped and watercolored them, then after they dried I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. I saved the window the die cuts out and glued it to my gingerbread guy for continuity in my scene. Otherwise it's pretty straight forward.
Next I cut the Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Circle from teal cardstock and a scrap of white for some snowy ground. I used liquid glue to adhere them together and a combo of liquid glue and foam tape to adhere my images to that.
Next I took a piece of white cardstock and embossed it with the Spellbinders Peppermint Stripes embossing folder. To add color, I drug the Lawn Fawn cilantro ink pad lightly across the panel going in the direction with the stripes (at an angle) until it had the coverage I wanted. I used liquid glue to adhere it to a card base and added my circle scene with foam tape to that.
Last, I cut a sentiment banner from the Mama Elephant Winter Banners die set. I inked the top layer with pink, glued the layers together and popped it up with foam strip. For finishing touches I just tied some fun peppermint twine around the left side of the card and tied it in a cute little bow.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

This season I've been really smitten with pink for the holidays. Here's how I was inspired for today's project:
Here are the products I combined for the card:
Pretty Pink Posh - Fringe Tree | die
Pretty Pink Posh - Holiday Wreath Builder | die
Mama Elephant - Shimmer Lights Cover | creative cuts
Mama Elephant - Winter Banners | creative cuts
I used the 'berry' die in the Holiday Wreath Builder for the tree ornaments. I really wanted to glue baby poms onto the card but I already have a couple of cards with them and they are so not postal friendly.
Hopefully by the time this card posts, I will have already mailed out this year's holiday cards. I've learned to do 'catch up' during Galentine's Day!
Thanks for stopping by!

It's Mix it up Monday and we're getting ready for the holidays with a sweet gift card holder today. Welcome everyone, it's Amanda from Twiddler's Nook. I feel like we give and get gift cards more often in recent years than ever before and, honestly, I'm not mad about it. It's super fun to open and then you relive it all over again when it's time to go shopping!
To take that a step further, I love giving them when I have a moment to create extra fun holders for them too! This Pretty Pink Posh gift card bag is top on my list to decorate for sure!
Today I created a red gift card bag and then added some fun Lawn Fawn dies to decorate it. Peppy Penguin just couldn't stay out of the hot cocoa. I tried, I really did. Lol.
My hot cocoa mug is the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Mug with some marshmallows and whipped cream, along with the spoon sticking out. I did some light ink blending a cinnamon dots on the whipped cream. Everything is adhered together with liquid glue.
I added the Pretty Pink Posh Holly Jolly sentiment across the mug with liquid glue and popped the mug and Peppy on the gift card bag with foam tape. For finishing touches I just added some glossy accents to the Christmas lights and tissue paper inside the bag to hide the gift card.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

A few weeks ago I shared some cards using the adorable critters from Mama Elephant's December Duo stamp and die set. I had quite a few colored images left and used them to create today's cards.
These cards are quick and easy! I added some ink to the background with the Winter Words stencil set from Pretty Pink Posh. Then I stamped the sentiment and added the critters.
Aren't they the cutest? I thought they'd be cute for Valentine's Day cards too.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you were inspired.

For today's project I wanted to feature the Mama Elephant - Postage Grid Cover. I pulled a bunch of different sets and this is how I was inspired:
Today I'm featuring:
Mama Elephant - Postage Grid Cover | Creative Cuts
Sunny Studio Stamps - Merry Mocha | Stamps + Dies
Pretty Pink Posh - Ghost Holder | Dies
Pretty Pink Posh - Holiday Mug Additions | Dies
I decided to go with a red and aqua color palette. For the peppermint candies, I used vellum for the wrappers. Do you spy the sprinkles? They match the aqua panel.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Mix it up Monday everyone! This is Amanda from Twiddler's Nook. I had some fun playing with the Lawn Fawn peppermint border dies a while ago. I just made a bunch of them for fun but didn't have a plan. Then I walked past my craft room the other morning and this design hit me. I ran in and sketched it out on a sticky note and came back to create it later on.
Since my peppermint borders were already created at this point, I glued them to a piece of pink cardstock and used the Mama Elephant Postage Frame dies to cut it out. I discarded the outer frame and kept the inside. Then I cut a white postage frame and used washi tape to adhere the inside to the frame.
I stamped a fun sentiment from the Mama Elephant Everything Nice set and used the coordinating die to cut it out. Then I stamped the bunny in the Mama Elephant Holiday Huggers set and colored it with copic markers. After using the coordinating die to cut it out too I hooked his paws over the sentiment and glued them together.
I didn't want a plain white card base so I drug my cilantro ink pad across a white card base for color and texture at the same time. Then I assembled everything with foam tape and squares. Gotta love that dimension!
For finishing touches today I added black glaze pen on the bunny's eyes and glossy accents on his nose and the while parts of the Santa hat.
How is your holiday card stash coming along? I am definitely getting there quickly. Thank goodness because it's about time to pop these babies in the mail!
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
