Pocket Scrapbooking with Technique Tuesday

We love the new Technique Tuesday program for memory keeping.  The stamp and die set released each month work beautifully together for quick, easy, and creative story cards for your Project Life or pocket scrapbooking projects.

This week we have some fun 3x4 pocket cards we created using the 6x6 paper pad from the On Trend collection released by My Mind's Eye.  I love the colors in this collection and the gold accents.

For this card we used the NEW, February stamp and die set from Technique Tuesday.

Here's a close up of those elements.  The arrow is from the February die set, Always Arrows, and was cut from the new die cut chipboard we are carrying (its great for adding dimension to your projects).  We cut it a second time from the melon color cardstock and adhered them together for a great dimensional element.  The stamp is from the February stamp set, Family Time.  We stamped it with the Delicata Gold Glitz ink from Tsukinkeo.  Love that gold ink!!

The die cut stitched circle (below), is cut from January's die set, Pocket of Love.  The stamp is from Technique Tuesday's Time of Our Life stamp set.

Here's a close up of those dimensional elements.  The gold heart is colored using the same gold ink mentioned above.

The final pocket is created using Foil Sheets from Ranger.  We cut the the Wow Moment die from a sheet of cardstock that we covered with the Elizabeth Crafts double sided adhesive.  We removed the adhesive backing after we cut it, and applied the gold foil sheet, rubbing it until is was stuck to the adhesive.  To give the element more dimension, we cut a second piece from the NEW light weight chipboard we are now carrying, and secured the foil piece to the top of it.

Here's a close up look at the foiled embellishment we created.

The scallop border we used, is from the Dotted Border Die Set from Avery Elle.
