 ...ice cream!

Here's the ice cream version of  Monday's card as I promised. Don't love french fries or ice cream?  This set also includes coffee, naps, pizza and more.  So fun, and such a great set for Valentine's Day cards or when you'd like to let someone know how much you love or appreciate them.

If you missed my post on Monday, it included a french fry version of this card and a few more details.  Today, I'll just be sharing a few images and a link to the FREE PDF instruction sheet for the french fry version.  If you'd like the instructions, the link is at the end of the post.  It will take you to the website where you can download it for FREE.  Simply add it to your cart, check out, and start creating.

Here's a second color choice.  Which one is your favorite?

Concord & 9th | Love You More Than...

 French fries....that's saying a lot.

The cards featured in today's post and project download use the Love You More Than die and stamp set from Concord & 9th.  I love this set.  It's great for Valentine's Day, but also perfect when you want to let someone know how much you love and appreciate them. The link to the FREE PDF instructional download for this project can be found at the end of this post.

I created quite a few cards with this set.  I'll share two versions of the french fries card today, and two versions using the ice cream cone later this week.

Since these are Valentine's Day cards, I chose to used the Layered Hearts stencil set from Pretty Pink Posh.  Hearts seemed appropriate for a Valentine. After inking up the background I cut all my die cut pieces and assembled them.

Here is the final version and a second color option.  I think the red box is my favorite.  What option do you like?

You'll find all the details for creating this card in our Printable PDF Project Sheet.  It's FREE.  The link will take you to the website and the product page.  Add it to your cart, check out, and start creating.

Spellbinders hearts, Lawn Fawn hugs and kisses!

Lawn Fawn xoxo Spellbinders Essential Hearts

Hello my friends!  Michele here - are you as ready as I am to put Christmas behind you?  Time for us to get our Valentines ready, right?

The key to my Valentine's heart is definitely through his love of sweets!
It was easy to bake him this sweetheart cookie card using the layering
Essential Hearts dies from Spellbinders!

The largest was cut from vanilla cardstock, the second from bright pink.  Each one given a little bit of blending on their edges using one shade darker ink.  Then the pink heart was treated to clear embossing ink, followed by layers of clear embossing powder until it had enough shine to appear as Royal Icing...

A 'heart-shaped' card was cut using the largest die, a 4/25" card base - fold at the top and left intact by nudging the die just above the fold.  Snip just a little from the back panel and magic happens...

My GIANT kisses and hugs are a fun die from Lawn Fawn cut from white card that were also iced using Nuvo Crystal Drops in Glossy White before having a little fun adding Pinkfresh Studios Magenta Glitter Drops!

I hope I've given you a fun idea for your own Valentines!

New beginnings!

Spellbinder Holiday Blooms PinkFresh Ornate Frame

Are you ready to countdown to midnight and a fresh start in the New Year?

I found some lovely items that paired together for just such a celebration!

Spellbinder Holiday Blooms PinkFresh Ornate Frame

Let's start with the cover panel, shall we?  I had my eye on this Pinkfresh Ornate Circle for quite some time - so happy to finally make it my own.  Doesn't it make the greatest jumping off point for lots of the details?

Speaking of details - check out how I added a bit of embossing to the center circle - yes, it does cut out from the frame.  Thanks, Cathy for adding that Spellbinder Forevergreen embossing folder to your shop - it is a favorite for sure!

I cut a few of the greenery and one more Poinsettia from Spellbinders' Holiday Blooms for my floral arrangement and found just what I wanted to say in the Altenew Paint-a-Flower: Hydrangea set.  Love when that happens!  I stamped my sentiment onto the smallest of the Slimline Labels in black, then clear embossed it.

I'm looking forward to the New Year and fresh starts - aren't you?!
We are wishing you all good luck, good health and yes, some magic, too!
