Acorn House Christmas-Theme...

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone. I am sharing this super fun Christmas-themed card with you today. I used the adorable Acorn House die from Lawn Fawn.

I began by die-cutting the base layer using the Backdrop Stitched Snowflake die using Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I then added color to this layer using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink. Next, I die-cut the layers to create the Acorn House. I also added the trim from the Build A House Gingerbread Add-on, the lights from the Build A House Christmas Add-on, and the window from the Mushroom House. Next, I used the Backdrop Snow Flurries die to create the border for the card.

I then colored the squirrels from the Let's Go Nuts stamp set, and the little Christmas hat, and sled from the Tiny Winter Friends stamp set. The mushrooms from the Frosty Fairy Friends stamp set, small Christmas Tress from the Yeti or Not stamp set , and the bow from the Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set.

Next, I used the Winter Greenery die-set to add greenery to the top of the Acorn House. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Hot Cocoa stamp set.

I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogIG or Pinterest.

Enhancing Fall Foliage Diecuts

Hi, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a bonus autumn-themed card for this week.

I love fall and really enjoyed playing with the Honey Bee Lovely Layers Fall Foliage and Rattan Basket dies. Just look at that built-in texture!

I colored them up by sponging Distress Oxides except for the red maple leaf that I used sprays on.  I preferred the sponged method as the ink caught on the debossed portions of the diecuts and highlighted the texture.

I also gently curled the leaves using my fingers and a bit of pressure.  Now they'll pop up from the card base without foam and even after mailing. How cool is that?

The Spellbinders hot foiled background added a bit of bling without overpowering the diecuts--just lovely.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.  Have a great rest of your day!

Framed Layered Poinsettias

Hi, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a holiday card that I'm in love with, all of it.

Look at how amazing that Waffle Flower Layered Poinsettia Stencil Duo works up with a quick treatment with Distress Oxides.  Gorgeous!  I did use a tiny tiny brush in some cases but didn't worry if I still overlapped as you can see.

I framed the poinsettias with the a Mama Elephant Oval Deco Frame and added both a hot-foiled and embossed sentiment using the Waffle Flower Merry Christmas Duo Hot Foil Plate & Dies and the Waffle Flower Merry Christmas Duo Stamps.  Surprisingly quick for such a stunning result.
