Jungle-Themed Thank You Card...

Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday.  I am sharing this jungle-themed thank you card with you today using the awesome Giant Thanks So Much die from Lawn Fawn.

I created this card as part of a set of the thank you cards I made for my sister's baby shower. The moment I saw the theme and the Backdrop Tropical Leaves die from Lawn Fawn I thought it would be perfect.

I die cut the leaves backdrop and added color to the leaves using Lawn Fawn ink. The colors are Cilantro, Jalapeno, and Noble Fir. Next, I die-cut the base layer using the Lawn Fawn Simple Stripes: Portrait die from white cardstock. I then glued the die cut strips to the base layer die-cut using the largest rectangle from the Basic Rectangles Creative Cuts die set from Mama Elephant.

I hope you like the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogIG or Pinterest.

Hello from Toni: Avery Elle Crocodile Birthday

Hello, everyone!  I'm in need of a lot of color as it's so dreary here in the PNW during the winter months. It’s rainy and dark so much of the time but at least there’s holiday decorations to brighten things up.

And, thus, I present to you a cheerful birthday card for one of my great nephews (as in my niece's son although he's also a great kid too!).

I used MFT Party Time 6x6 paper as a backdrop for the fun and fabulous Avery Elle Oh Snap alligator.

I colored him up with Copics, adding little dots of color to break up all that green.  Isn't he fun?!

Did you notice that the inside of his mouth is cut out? That outline die is totally worth it! I love being able to see the patterned paper behind.

The critter is placed on top of a stylized balloon, complete with string. I think that's a really fun touch.

For the sentiment I used Mama Elephant Let's Chat speech bubbles.

I hope this card brighened up your day as much as it did mine.  I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Merry Christmas with Avery Elle...

Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday.  It is almost Christmas, yay!! I am sharing this card with you today using the super cute Mr. & Mrs. Claus stamp set by Avery Elle.

I started by coloring the images I would use. Along with the Mr. & Mrs. Claus stamp set, I used the tree from the Peek-A-Boo Christmas Train stamp set, and the bow from the Christmas Mice stamp set.   I used Copic markers to color the images.

Copics Used:
C9, W7W5W3W2
G94YG67YG63YG03
BG13, BG11, BG10, E40E41

Next, I used the larger of the rectangles from the Basic Rectangles Creative Cuts die set to die-cut the base layer for the card. You can also use this set to create the frame for the card. Next, I used the smaller rectangle from the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments die set to die-cut the smaller panel for the center of the card. I then used the same die to die-cut another panel from white cardstock. I used the Slimline Stitched Hillside Border dies to die cut the snowy layers.  I then heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of vellum.

I hope you like the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me on my blogIG or Pinterest.

Hello from Toni: Pinkfresh Gradiating Floral

Hello, everyone! I felt like a complete change of pace from the slog of holiday cards so worked up this fun number using Pinkfresh Studio Be Strong and Pinkfresh Studio Color Block: Gradiating Stripes.

I cut out the Pinkfresh Studio Color Block: Gradiating Stripes in a sturdy white cardstock then sponged them rainbow-style with a twist using Distress Oxide Spun Sugar, Worn Liptstick, Picked Raspberry, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Prize Ribbon, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, and Pine Needles.

I mounted them onto a card base that I had used Scor-Tape on then had burnished glitter onto. It's a subtle bling and I loves it.

I had intended to color up the Pinkfresh Studio Be Strong images but decided to leave them plain since the background was so colorful. It's like reverse popping.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.
