Hello from Amy | Happy Holidays - Waffle Flower

Happy Friday!  It's Amy here and I'm wrapping up the week of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with a caffeinated project.  Doodlebugs is one of the many Super Sponsors.  To be eligible for prizes you must link up a caffeinated project, all the details are over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.

Don't forget about the Doodlebugs SALE:

Today I'm featuring Waffle Flower:

Holly Bird | Combo Stamp & Die

Here's how I was inspired:

Oh that bird is so cute, isn't she?  I colored her up with copics:

R20 | R21 | R30
BG13 | BG34
Y11 | YR21
E50 | E21

I love how big that image is!  I ended up fussy cutting it and popping it on foam dimensionals.  A super clean + simple design.

That's it for me!  I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Hello from Toni: ME Toasty Friends II

Hi, everyone!  I have a bonus project for you today using the same Mama Elephant Toasty Friends set as Tuesday's post.

We had a local crafty zoom a few weeks ago and this is one of the make-n-takes I worked up for the gals. If you look at it, it's really easy to assemble (and to mail as pieces)--card base, designer paper panel, tag with the fireplace and sentiment already stamped, and a couple of choices for the critter. I even included the Lawn Fawn Twine and Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Sweet Gift Tags with Lawn Fawn...

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday!! Mayra here with you today. I have a fun set of tags to share with you. Doodlebugs is having a fantastic sale going on through the 13th of November 2020 in honor of being one of the wonderful sponsors for the 2020 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. You have a couple more days to use the discount. There is also a great section on the online store for all coffee lovers. You can check out that section here

For my tags, I used the awesome Stitched Mug FrameOutside In Stitched Mug, the beautiful Lawn Fawn Stitched Poinsettias dies, Shutter Card Add-On (the little hearts for the smaller mugs),  Shadow Box Fireplace Add-On (the little berries and leaves for the smaller mugs), Scalloped Circle Gift Tag (smaller tag for the sentiment), Build A House Gingerbread Add-On (candy canes). To create the dripping whipped cream for each of the mugs (both the larger and smaller ones) I used the Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders. I used one of the wavier dies. I also used the Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On to create a coordinating mini mug to decorate the spoon with.

After die cutting all of the pieces I would be using, I created each individual tag. I did turn them into shaker tags by adding foam adhesive and acetate. I used a variety of sequins. This is a lovely one to use the Sparkling Clear Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. To create the tag area for the mugs I used the Tiny Tags die set.  I then heat embossed the sentiment onto the small tags using the sentiment from the Tiny Tag Sayings stamp set.

For the sprinkles on one of the mugs, I used the cut-out pieces from the little ball of yarn from Tiny Gift Box Cat Add-On.

I really loved creating these Christmas tags with a coffee/hot cocoa theme. I hope you enjoy them and feel inspired to create. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day. Please feel welcome to visit me at my blog, or Instagram, or on Pinterest.

Hello from Toni: Mama Elephant Toasty Friends

Hello, Doodlebugs fans! I really enjoyed making today's card featuring Mama Elephant Toasty Friends with a Sunny Studio Winter Scene backdrop.

I stamped the various images using Versafine Onyx Black onto my favorite paper, Strathmore Bristol Smooth.  I then watercolored everything using Zigs (010, 020, 030, 035, 042, 044, 050, 052, 072, 082, 092, and 400).

I used Polychromos (101, 115, 179, 181, 199, 225, and 234) to add details to the Mama Elephant Toasty Friends images, darkening shadows and such. I even used PC white to cover up where I had totally misjudged where the shadow from the fire would be created on the dog and sheep. Talk about lifesaver pencil.

I diecut the panel then decided I didn't like how that looked so I put the diecut edge back onto the card base using foam tape so it looks like I a deliberate feature.  I'm so sneaky!  LOL.

I'll see you again soon.  If you'd like to check out my other creations in the meantime, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.
