Jump For Joy with Lawn Fawn...

Hello everyone!! Happy Wednesday!! I am so happy to be here sharing a super fun Fall themed shaker card with you. Did you know that there is a section for Autumn Favorites available on the Doodlebugswa store? You should check this section out if you love creating Fall-themed projects. As I mentioned last week Autumn themed cards are some of my favorite to make. I checked out the Autumn Favorites to pick out the stamp set I would be using.

For my card, I chose to use Jump For Joy for the leaves,  Pick of The Patch for the cute little squirrels, and the cuties from the Really High Five stamp set. I colored all of my images using Copic markers. I used the Sunrise Backdrop Lawn Cuts Die for the background of my card. For the grass area, I used the grassy hill from the Mushroom Border die.

I used Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock to die cut all of the pieces I would be using for my card.
For the background, I used Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers. For the Sunrise Backdrop, I used Squeezed LemonadeMustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Inks. For the grassy hill, I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks and a bit of Noble Fir ink from Lawn Fawn

I then decided to make this card into a shaker card. I added a piece of acetate to the Sunrise Backdrop die and then foam tape to adhere it to the base. I used the super pretty Jewels in Sparkling Clear from Pretty Pink Posh. For the sentiment, I used embossing powder in Bright White Super Fine

I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you.

Hello from Toni: MFT Lots of Leaves

The seasons are starting to change and I'm so in the mood for Autumn.  That's what inspired my first card today.

I sponged the MFT Lots of Leaves Cover Up die with Distress Oxide Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed as well as Distress Ink Candied Apple. Distress Ink colors are more intense on paper so really makes the red pop out in this case.

I then softly brushed my card base with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and stamped the Mama Elephant Wishing You sentiment with Versafine Vintage Sepia. The second half of the sentiment is embossed on a lovely brown cardstock.

As I was working on the first card, I thought about what else I would do with these leaves. Although they're deciduous tree leaves, I figured they would work just as well for a jungle type scene. Yup, yup.

I used two MFT Lots of Leaves Cover Up diecuts, one sponged on the back side and one of the front with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, and Lucky Clover. This really gave some depth to the scene.

I stamped and masked the Sunny Studio Savanna Safari images directly onto the card front and colored them up with Copics.

I lightly sponged around the images with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and stamped the Sunny Studio Savanna Safari sentiment with Versafine Vintage Sepia onto a Lawn Fawn Wavy Banner.

Have a great rest of your week!  In the meantime, if you'd like to check out my other creations, you can visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, my Instagram, or my Pinterest Board.

Hello from Amy: Hello | Sunny Studio Stamps

Happy Friday!  It's Amy and I can't believe it is going to be September on Tuesday!  It's gone weirdly quick yet slow at the same time, know what I mean?  Today I'm sharing a fall theme project that features Sunny Studio Stamps:

Here's how I was inspired:

I was going to do a blended Distress Oxide background of:

Wild Honey
Spiced Marmalade
Seedless Preserves

I ended up just using various cardstocks from my stash.

Those sweet Harvest Mice make me smile.  I used all the images except an apple.  Here are the Copics I used:

YR0000 | E50 | E53
Y15 | Y17
G20 | G21

You're The Pumpkin Spice in My Latte...

Hello everyone. Happy Wednesday and happy September. Which is your favorite season of the year?  Mine is Autumn. I love the changing colors, the beauty of the leaves, everything about Fall. I love creating Autumn themed cards. As you can imagine, I had a blast creating these cards to share with you today. I used the super sweet Unicorn Picnic stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I combined the images from the Unicorn Picnic set with the leaves from the Jump For Joy, the cute coffee cup from Pumpkin Spice, the little (super cute) pumpkins from Spooky Villageand the other unicorn from the adorable A Little Sparkle stamp set. I also used the picnic blanket from the Crazy Antics stamp set.

I then colored all of my images using Copic markers. I wanted a bright Autumn inspired color theme.
For the bright plum color, I used RV55, V06, and V04. For the bright pink, I used RV55, RV52, and RV66. For the yellow gold areas, I used Y32, YR15YR16Y08, and Y00.

Next, I used the Foursquare Backdrop die and the Oval Scallop Frames to die cut the top layers for my cards. I then stamped the sentiments onto each one using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink.
For the second card, I also die cut a grassy hill and the little mushrooms using the Mushroom Border Lawn Cuts Die by Lawn Fawn.

I assembled my first card.
For the second card, I made it into a shaker card.

I hope you enjoy the cards I created to share with you today.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
