I Am Grateful Stamp and Grateful Die from Technique Tuesday

Today we're sharing some cards we created using the October stamp set (I am Grateful) and die (Grateful) from Technique Tuesday.  This is an awesome set, not just for Fall and Thanksgiving.  It can be used all year to create pocket scrapbooking cards listing things you are grateful for.  I also thought it would be a wonderful set for a mini gratitude book, and is perfect for year round thank you cards.  We paired the stamp and die with an ephemera pack from Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane collection for today's samples.

Today we are sharing cards.  We'll be sharing some pocket scrapbooking journaling cards later this week.  So, be sure to check back.

We die cut the word grateful from white cardstock, covered it with purple, pigment ink, added clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.  That's what gives it that dimensional and glossy look.  Here's a close up of the die cut word and some of the die cuts included in the Cedar Lane ephemera pack.  The stitched and scallop rectangle die are from the MFT Blueprints #20.  You'll find it in our online store HERE.

Our second card is super simple.  We stamped thanks and embellished it with more of the die cuts from the Cedar Lane ephemera pack.  The double stitched oval is a new item we are carrying.  It's from MFT Stamps and is available in our Sequim, WA location.  If you'd like to order it from our online store, please send us an email letting us know.  We plan to add them soon, but they are currently not listed.

Autumn Leaves and Grateful Greetings

Today we have a quick card using the Autumn Leaves and Grateful Greetings stamp sets from WPlus9.

We stamped the leaf outline from the Autumn Leaves stamp set, using Tim Holtz Distress inks onto watercolor paper.  Then, with a wet brush, we pulled the color inside the leaf design, creating a soft watercolor effect.  Once the image was dry, we stamped over it with the Grateful Greetings set using black ink.

Fa La La from Avery Elle

Today we have a beautiful card created using Avery Elle's Fa La La stamp set, available in our online store and our Sequim, WA shop.

We used the stamp and coordinating die to stamp and cut the wreath.  We embellished it with red rhinestones.

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with ultra fine gold embossing powder.  Here's a close up look.

Merry & Bright Paper Crafting Kit

Today we're sharing another card we created with our Merry & Bright paper crafting kit.  We think you'll love all the gold foil elements in this kit.  I know we do!

There's also an ADD-ON for this kit that includes gold Stickles, a mix of sequins and the coordinating Christmas Florals die from Avery Elle.

Here's the card we created with the Merry & Bright kit.  We used some VersaMark ink and gold ultra fine embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment from the stamp set onto watercolor paper.  Then, we added some of the Pine Needles Distress Ink to our nonstick craft mat, used a brush to add some water to the ink, and then applied it liberally to the paper over the sentiment.  Don't worry, the heat embossed area will resist the color.  Allow ink to dry.

Here's a close-up look at the flowers we stamped and cut with the coordinating dies from the ADD ON kit.  We used the Distress Ink pads included in the kit to stamp the flowers and vines and added some of the gold Stickles to the centers, also from the ADD ON kit.
