Taylored Expressions- Sunny Days Stamps and Dies

Today we have a cute card I created with the Sunny Days Stamp and Die set from Taylored Expressions.  I saw a similar card on Pinterest, and had to create my own version.

I used Stardust Stickles for the glitter on the clouds and sun.  The raindrop stickers are from EK Success.

What's New Wednesday

The biggest news this week...still no baby!  We are all patiently waiting for baby Irie to arrive.  We can't wait to meet her.

As you saw in our What's New Wednesday post last week, we have lots of new products on order.  Our email in box is beginning to fill with shipping notifications.  That means new products will begin arriving within the next 7 days.  We'll do our best to keep you up-to-date on new products via our Facebook page and here, on our What's New Wednesday post.

Valentine- You Make My Heart Glow

Saw this cute idea on Pinterst.  Stop in for some glow sticks (we have them in several colors) and white cardstock.  Then, download and print the cards- PINK, BLACK, or WHITE.  After printing, use your hole punch to create holes and slide the glow stick through.  Super easy, and super fun Valentines!!

Memory Box Tall Birch Die

The Tall Birch die from Memory Box isn't just for winter and Christmas.  We're using it for a Valentine's Day card.  However, you could use this for wedding, engagement, or just because for someone you love.  The tiny heart is from the Hearts Delight die from Memory Box.

Sizzix- Triple Square Flip-its Card

We're back on our blog with another Flip-its card.  We love these fun, interactive cards!!

This is the Triple Square Flip-its die set from Sizzix.  It comes with the dies for cutting the card base, the mats, and lots of different size squares.  The hearts are from the Memory Box Heart Delights die.  I colored them with my Copic markers and added some Stardust Stickles.  Use little butterflies instead of hearts for a cute Spring card.

What's New Wednesday

We're back from CHA and still trying to sort through all the orders!  We have lots of fun, new products that will be arriving over the next couple months.  We'll keep you posted on new arrivals on our  Facebook page, and our "What's New Wednesday" post and email.

In the meantime, we thought we'd share some of our favorite finds.

The first set of images are my favorites!  Tim Holtz has released letter press blocks.  Love the idea shown below.  They painted them.  Then, stacked and glued them together for a great display.  My Mind's Eye has some fun new enamel stickers....not just enamel dots anymore.   Hazel and Ruby has some FAT rolls of washi tape.  I can't wait to use these for binding on the outside of mini books and my mixed media projects.  The final image is a preview of the mini stencils from Heidi Swapp.  Can't wait for these to arrive.

As always, we watched Tim Holtz demo his new products.  The "HOT" item was the marker spritzer.  These are going to be fun!  We also spent quite some time admiring all the amazing samples featuring his wonderful products.

More enamel dots (with a twist) from My Mind's Eye.  Loving the wood, glitter, and the fun shapes!

Lots of mixed media products.  New line from Dina Wakely and Ranger and of course new stencils.  We've got lots of these coming.  Hope we can make enough room.

MFT Heart Full of Love

Here are a few cards I made using the NEW "Heart Full of Love" Die-namics die from MFT Stamps.  I was inspired by the watercolor effects I keep seeing all over Pinterest.  The teal wash was created using Twinkling H20's.  I chose Inktense pencils to create the pink wash.  Gellatos would also work for this technique.

To get this look, I created a color wash with the above products on my craft mat.  I used a wet brush across the paper, then applied my color wash. This helps the color move around on the paper.  Use your heat tool to dry the paper, and the cut with your Die-namics die.  I used the Mixed Media paper pad from Strathmore for both cards.  It holds up better with all the water.

Remember the Party Balloons stamp set from MFT Stamps?  Well, here's another card using the stamp set, and the Happy Birthday Die-namics set.  I saw this card on Jennifer Mc Guire's blog.  Here's my version. The patterned paper is from the 6x6 paper pad from Basic Grey's  RSVP collection.

MFT Stamps- Love you with all my Heart

I love Valentine stamps that can also be used for everyday occasions.  This MFT, Pure Innocence stamp is one of those.  I colored her with Copic markers and paper pieced her dress with paper from Basic Grey's, Fresh Cut collection.

MFT Party Balloons Stamp Set

This card was created using the MFT Party Balloon stamp set from MFT Stamps (the sentiment is from Paper Smooches).  I've been making all sorts of cards using this set and love it. 

They also have a coordinating die available that I've been playing with too.  Watch for more cards this month, using this wonderful set and the matching die.

What's New Wednesday and More Spring Classes
